“Great location for nightlife.”

The Grand Sukhumvit is a good place to stay if you want to be near the "Red District" nightlife. It is a little pricey but their rooms are nice and comfortable. Do not use their computer room. It is way overpriced and their computers are slow. Next door behind the 7-11 there is a internet place that is about a tenth of the price of The Grand Sukhumvit's and way faster. Do not eat breakfast there unless it is included with your room. It is also way overpriced for what you get.

“Dont go there. They are crooks!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Very annoying reception w attempting to con me out of the kind of room I asked for. Staff could not understand simple thing like where was the Thai Handicraft place and when they did not know they said it is being "renovated " to stop me from bugging them anymore. Breakfast in am was very poor quality and very expensive for the quality of food. I went there because of someone's recommendation on Expedia but my experience was very negative. WillNEVER go there and DONT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO GO THERE.

“Nice place”

“Great value for Money and great location”

“Good hotel in adult area”

The hotel was nice and staff friendly. Bathroom was large with a separate shower and bathtub. Location might be good or bad depending on your tastes. It's close to the girly bars and massage parlors in the Nana Plaza area a block away. Those looking for a family atmosphere might want to try a different hotel.

“Great hotel and location”

For the price you really cannot go wrong. It's a 5 minute walk to the Nana rail station (or less if you take the complimentary tuk tuk). They were very accomodating and allowed me to check in early at no additional cost. My only gripe was the surcharge for the internet is extremely high with no wifi in the room.

“Had a great time; pleasantly surprised!”

The location of this hotel was wonderful, steps away from Sukhumvit (and if you didn't feel like walking complimentary tuk-tuk rides from the hotel's doorstep) and right on the Metro (can't remember the name) line. The room was fantastic, way more spacious than I could have imagined, with state of the art temperature/lighting controls, two flat screen televisions (in bedroom and living room), a large bathroom and all the amenities. The pool was great fun, and very luxe. The staff was very helpful, even going so far as to draw me a map (in Thai and in English) to find an obscure site I wanted to visit. All in all a great stay. Recommend it highly!

“Large comfortable rooms”

The Grand Sukhumvit was a nice hotel and the staff is very friendly. We traveled with our 2 young children and had to book two rooms. They do not have adjoining rooms, so we had to split up though we were next to each other. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and so are the bathrooms. The hotel breakfast buffet was delicious as was the items at the coffee shop. Location very close to Nana station. Not a great location for the kids walking around after dark. Pool was relaxing but not alot of sunlight.

Traveler's tip

Use the elevated train system. It's super easy to use, quick and cheap.
