“Good hotel in adult area”

The hotel was nice and staff friendly. Bathroom was large with a separate shower and bathtub. Location might be good or bad depending on your tastes. It's close to the girly bars and massage parlors in the Nana Plaza area a block away. Those looking for a family atmosphere might want to try a different hotel.

“Perfect Balance of Location and Service”

top quality hotel in a perfect location: namely on a short, quiet side soi, but close major locations: soi 4, sukhumvit, sky train

“Great stay in a great hotel”

Extremely clean and comfortable hotel. Hotel lobby always fresh with the aroma of lemongrass. Staff always courtious and willing to help with any request. We will definately stay there again.

“a few notes about the place”

nice hotel, services were good. but there is couple of things people should be aware of: 1. it's in an alley way, one end leads to the main road, the other end leads to another alley way that's I think what they called "nana stretch". it's a stretch where bars, strip clubs, and cash for female services are. 2. the hot water supply is wracked, I like to take hot showers, but the hot water supply is inconsistant. the shower would go from hot to cold to hot randomly, so unless you don't use hot water, beware. 3. if you care about window views, forget it, all you will see is the build across or the parking lot across...

“Nice”

Aside from my shower that was either scalding or cold, the room was great and the hotel staff gracious. Good backstreet location off of Sukhumvit Rd.

“A good choice in a good location”

The Grand Sukhumvit is a nice, 5-star hotel. Maybe not at the top end of 5-star hotels, but it's very good. If you want to be near Sukhumvit Road, this is an excellent choice because it's on a small street a couple hundred meters from all the action (either Nana Road or Sukhumivit Road). The rooms are nothing to get too excited about, but certainly meet the standard of a nice hotel. The gym is good.

“Great location!”

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the proximity to Nana Skytrain terminal. From there it is a short hop to all the shopping districts or down to the ferry for a boat trip to the Old Town. The hotel itself was clean, spacious and the room was luxurious. Down points include: 1) nowhere to hang dresses in the wardrobe without the bottom of the dress being crumpled up. This is despite there being so much other storage space in the room - almost a drawer per sock!! 2) Long queues out to the main road at certain times of the day. Don't get the hotel to call you a taxi if it's busy - just go out to the road yourself 3) Beds very very soft. Lovely if you want to sink into soft pillows and mattress but not great if you have a bad back!! Overall, a great hotel in a great location. Would definitely return!

“Great Hotel”

I have stayed many times in BKK. But this hotel is the best value for money in term of accommodation. Centrally located, just a walk to NANA Sky Train. Fairly quiet location. One thing I did NOT like is to pay $10 AUD for beer and $7 AUD for water. Just 50 meters away is 7/11 store which was my budget saviour!!!! I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.
