Beautiful hotel in Panthum Wan district of BangkokPosted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: The people.
This is a small boutique hotel in Bangkok. The people are knowledgable, friendly and attentive. The property is beautiful and the two restaurants are wonderful. The concierge can arrange transportation or tours to any attraction in the city.

Have stayed in many 5 star Bangkok hotels. Hansar is the ideal combination of location, amenities, design, staff professionalism, and ambience

totally luxuryPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Location, Luxury
Location: Siam Square shopping malls, RedSky sky bar, Lumphini Park, BTS station two minutes walk away.
We stayed at The Hansar for just one night after a spending a few weeks in Cambodia, and it was just perfect! Its in a great location ideal for the trains (necessary for travel in the time of protests) and a stumble from the Siam square area. We had a king suite which was incredibly luxurious with great facilities. The bathroom was amazing and it was the comfiest bed of our whole trip. The staff are incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was superb with a great range and quality of ingredients. Definitely opt for an 18th floor (top) room facing over the racecourse- the view was fantastic, but as we saw from the open corridors the views from other sides of the hotel could have been lacking somewhat just overlooking carparks. We didn't get chance to use the pool but it looked lovely

Beautiful hotel, spacious room and bathroom, clean. Very helpful staff, special thanks to Aod and Oh-Ping for their welcoming and effectiveness in booking us tickets for evening thai boxing. High quality service. The hotel is also very close to BTS station.

Budget 5 star in BangkokPosted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Hmm... Everything.
Cons: Shuttle to and from the airport perhaps. The taxi situation in Bangkok is very hit and miss.
Location: Great location.
This is an excellent hotel literally around the corner from the Four Season. Definitely a 5 star hotel by US standards. It's a boutique hotel but in the positive senses of the word: cozy but not tiny, personalized yet not claustrophobic. Beats the pants off of most hotels I've stayed at in Paris, Amsterdam and the US. The staff is exceptionally warm, gracious and professional. It's probably one of the best hotel experiences I've had... Ever. Thanks to everyone at Hansar.

HoneymoonPosted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed in Bangkok at the Hansar Hotel for 2 nights as the first part of our honeymoon. We were blown away by the hotel with it’s amazing decor and exclusive atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. All the food and drink in the room was complimentary. We were greeted with roses and chocolates in the room for our honeymoon which was lovely. Having freshened up in the fantastic infinity pool, which hangs off the side of the building we went out the explore to local area. We were just down the road from the Central World Shopping centre which was huge and has loads of shops and restaurants. The hotel staff we happy to advice us how to get to places and what to do (always get your taxi’s on the meter as the drivers love to rip off a tourist). We had dinner in the hotel “cafe” restaurant, which my husband states was one of the best meals of the holiday (crispy noodle soup). Breakfast was great. Although our stay was short and sweet we would have loved to have spent more time in the Hansar and Bangkok. We would recommend a trip to the Sky Bar for evening cocktails on the roof top (64th floor) which was amazing! Overall we had a brilliant stay and would happily recommend staying here to anyone.

Serenity and Class at HansarPosted Dec 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
From the arrival, met by doorman at taxi, cool ginger tea at check in, and professional and polite bell hop, to the well-appointed suite with working area, living room, very comfortable bed and large, serene bathroom, our stay at Hansar could not have been better. The breakfast buffet, with the option of sitting outside or in, is outstanding -- something for everyone -- even more so that it is complimentary. The BTS (elevated train, high-quality, clean and quick), is 2-minute walk form the front door. Highly recommended.
