“Hotel in centre next to park”

Generally a very good hotel, with excellent range of foods for breakfast. We did have to ask for a kettle in the room and then when it came it was broken and then replaced again - very promptly. The hotel is next to a park and within easy walking of a shopping emporium. There were no hidden 'extras' added on to the bill at the end.

“Lasting satisfaction”

The overall impression is of a truly up market quality hotel. Decor and relaxed semi formal ambience provide a consistent feeling of care in the management of the hotel. Front street location is to a pretty basic area, full of small eateries and too many massage shops, a mix of local Thai street culture versus entyertain the visitors. A little shady but certainly safe and never in your face. Backs on to the superb Queens Park, so relaxing and beautiful, security patrols ensure safety to the extreme. Close to sky way train station, but you need to know where you're going. Hotel staff & locals helpful always. Traffic is bedlam and hotel a bit far from attractions, so be ready for hours in traffic if you pick the wrong time. Staff helpful and so polite. Over bath shower was a let down in such a hotel, but small issue. Overall a delightful hotel and reasonable rates. Internet costs ... should be free in this day and age ..bad oversight.

“Very good customer service”

Hotel is always very clean and tidy. Staff were very welcoming and their customer service was fantastic. Food in the hotel restaurants is very nice and not overpriced

The staff is very helpful. Rooms are neat and clean. Metro station is very closeby and very useful. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool.

“value for money”

Centrally located in Sukhumvit area, close to skytrain and Emporium department store. Rooms are spacious as is the entire hotel. It's a big hotel with many rooms, so don't expect a boutique kind of approach. In parts it could do with a bit of modernization but it has all the needed comforts at a reasonable price.

“Bangkok's Ideal Location and Superb Accommodations: Imperial Queens Park Hotel”

The Imperial Queens Park Hotel was a superb hotel. It is located in the bustling Sukhumvit area, adjacent to the park and near the Emporium Shopping complex and MRT. Good value for the price. Clean, safe and secure. My previous stay here was during the 2006 Coup and it was safe and enjoyable then as well.

“Good location, great pools”

The hotel is very nice.....just a littel bit dated. Not necessarily in a bad way though, it is simply an older hotel that has been well kept. If you like going to the pool this is a great hotel, two pools each catch sunlight at different times so you don't have to worry about having another building shadow over the pool. I have stayed at many hotels in BKK, this one has the best pools of the hotels I have been at. Hotel located on soi22 plenty of bars and massage parlors nearby if that is what you are in to. Soi cowboy is relatively near also, ten minute walk.

“Location is Great”

It is an excellent location. Many restraunts in the area and it is a short walk through the park to both the Emporium Mall and the BTS sky train.

“Great location plus park access”

This hotel is a grand old place with two towers located in the shopping and entertainment area of Bangkok. The hotel is a little older which is both a plus and a minus. On the plus side it has a very classy and grand feel to it without being tacky like some modern hotels can be. On the minus side the bathrooms are small and the furniture a bit old fashioned. The hotel is located on Imperial Queen's Park which is a nice escape from the city (if not the heat) and allows quick access to the shopping center on the main road which also has a skytrains station on one of the floors. The skytrain is important since street traffic can be very bad throughout Bangkok. The staff were very nice and quite helpful. The hotel also has numerous dining options but is well located so that getting out for a meal is easy. The pool looked very nice but I did not have time to enjoy it.

The service and staff are very friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean.
