Location: There is a Family Mart and an ATM next door and the hotel is one block from Silom Rd. There are taxi and Tuk-Tuks nearby.
This is a nice and clean hotel. Everything is great except the shower is very small and in some rooms floods the bathroom. There is a good drain in the bathroom as long as you move the trashcan. The room has dual outlets and blackout curtains but the U shaped hotel and large windows provide it easy viewing into other rooms both at night and day if the curtains are open. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and all delicious. If you are there during Songkran please note the following. There are no balconies and your clothes do not dry well in the room. There were also a few water and clay "stations" so unless you were in a taxi you will get wet. The hotel is close to the action if you do want to participate. Overall we enjoyed our stay that while back in town we stayed here again.

could be better but a reasonable stay

Posted Nov 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
At first glance, the hotel seems nice but look closer and you'll see the dodgy DIY work, for instance gaps in pipework, discoloured water and bad water pressure etc. Nonetheless, a fair stay in Asia, with comfortable beds.

Manohra Hotel - Bangkok Thailand

Posted Aug 30, 2011 on Hotels.com
This hotel is OK for the price. I booked this hotel thru Hotel.com and I was promised a breakfast but it did not happen. This is neither a non-smoking facility nor has a complementary breakfast as it has advertised. DO NOT EVER HAVE A LUNCH THERE, IT'S COLD & HORRIBLE.

cheap budget place to stay for a couple of nights

Posted Jul 24, 2011 on Hotels.com
This hotel is a simple budget place to stay if you are in Bangkok for just a few nights. It is in the Indian neighbourhood of the city so there are some Indian restaurants nearby, and also a couple of convenience stores. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest BTS station (Surasak) or it's the same to walk to the Silom shopping district. A tuk-tuk costs only 100 baht to get to either. The rooms were decently clean and the cleaners cleaned the room whenever we asked for it. Nothing particularly outstanding about this place but also nothing particularly bad either

Manorah Hotel BK - Decent value and comfort

Posted Jul 11, 2011 on Hotels.com
Had a pleasant stay, there are some considerations, like the distance from the nearest sky train was about 10-15min walk and in the humidity thats not great but taxis are cheap and plentiful to get you there or further, about 50 baht to the nearest sky train, so cheap! The area is a bit of a dead zone but stroll 5 mins under the over pass road and you get to a strip of decent places to eat, and some tailors from cheap to up market higher quality but still reasonably priced. Rooms were not entirely quiet at all times, you could hear the next room but I think my neighbours were particularly loud, but once you switch the air con on that noise faded out. Rooms were comfy, clean, and noise was minimal. Service was great, they really looked after you with everythiing you may need. For the money it was MUCH better then expected, infact the service was just as good if not better than many 4 ot 5 star hotels I have been to.

Manhora Hotel - bangkok

Posted Jun 24, 2011 on Hotels.com
More a 2 star than a three star. Long walk from the sky train and not a nice area to walk in especially if you are alone, at night. Bangkok is known to press you to go on a tuk tuk or take a very expensive boat excursion, but you would think that you were safe from this in your hotel, unfortunately Bell Hops, every time you left in the morning would be pushing a boat excursion or tuk tuk ride on you, to a man who had set up stall right outside the front doors of the hotel . Needs a lot of updating....probably was a three star in it's hay day back in the early 80's but no maintenance seems to have taken place since. NOT RECOMMENDED

Just fine for the meeting

The hotel's staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was less than satisfactory. The location of the hotel did not offer any view of the city.

Good hotel, nice friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and hotel nicely laid out. Wifi would be nice but its a 3 star so can't have everything.
