Ok but the photos do a lot of justice
Hotel has had a slight room refurbishment but it’s still very dated. My hot water was hard to control. The temperature was either very hot or cold so couldn’t find a comfortable point. Otherwise it’s a good location for a short stay and the staff are nice.

Property underwent significant renovation. Much refreshing rooms and improved parking lot, though same amount of spaces as before. Close to the nightclub but back entrance to club is now closed.

Hotel was very clean and staff were very nice. Mr Odd was a very nice man and very helpful to me. Had to cut trip short because of Covid...hope i can come back soon at a better time. Will definately stay again. Thanks so much for hospitality!!!

Unserviceable TV, Safe, and room flooded with insecticide at almost midnight. Here is my review: I am ok with the Long wait to check in. After I enter the room, the safe was spoilt, I think never mind, I will lock my valuable in my luggage. End of the day, I return to room and found the TV not working. I think positively, just watch YouTube from my phone. After that I slept. Around 10+pm, I was slightly awaken by a bad smell, around 11+pm, I was coughing and turn on the lights, only to found my whole room filled with smoke. I though there was a fire and rush out but all was ok along the corridor and I opened my door to air the room and inform the security guard. Soon three staffs were there and took pics, I took video and pics also. The staffs were nice people and told me the pesticide enter through the aircon and change the room for me. I had problem sleeping and was very tired the next day as I was still coughing badly the remaining night from breathing the pesticide for a prolong period of time.

Overdue overhaul !!
Great service and they even try to change room for me. But the problem is after changing room, the problem still exist and it’s getting really late and we are getting tired then decided to change hotel. A/C doesn’t cool down the room enough to be comfortable and hotel had old smell, stains and spots all over. Something very minor, but does concern us a lot, only one toothbrush is provided in the room, and even after charging room, same scenario.

When I saw the pics at website quite nice, but in reality it is different. The aircon is very stuffy. And got cockroach in our room. Very dissapointing. The cabinet very difficult to open and close. Not recommended.

Fantastic hotel that is my home from home when in Bangkok. Rooms nicely furnished and clean. The staff at reception are made sure I got my usual room and I cannot praise them enough. Breakfast simply but very tasty with a wide variety of choice. I have been coming to this hotel for 30 years and you will never beat it for price quality and location to all amenities. Try it you will love it, and I'm back in 6weeks yipee

Bed was large and comfy. The whole place is dated with pool being on 3rd floor via fire escape and walk down some stairs a little odd. Breakfast was average, ok for a short break but would get boring after 3 days. Area although not far from skyntrain and metro was a little bit seedy for us. We did not realise the street would have ladies of the night on every corner as well as staying with guests at the hotel!

Not A Happy Trip
Very disappointed with the Hotel in General. I stay in Bkk quite a lot and saw this Hotel as I was walking to another Hotel I was staying at. From the outside it looks very nice.I suppose the old saying is "never judge a book by it's cover". I had sent 3 e mails before I arrived in BKK telling them I would not arrive until midnight and asking a few questions, something I always do if I will be arriving late. Unfortunately I did not receive a response back to any of the messages I sent. When I checked in, there was 2 "older" guys behind the desk, who didn't have much personality. between them. I asked if they received my message about arriving late, and they said no, and just laughed. Next Morning I asked to see someone from the Reservations Department. Instead they dialed a number and handed me the phone. I then spoke to a Woman and explained why I was speaking to her. After I gave her the information she asked, so you are checking in at midnight tonight? I had to tell the story again, but in a different context. I finished off by saying "I wondered why you didn't message me back"? The answer I received was priceless. "Because we are busy" was the answer. I then told her the reason you are busy is because you have customers to attend to. No customers means no job. The wifi is bad and I had to go to the Foyer many times as I was there on business. I actually checked out 1 day early simply due to the wifi and also finding cockroaches in the bathroom. Not my best experience.

Good service but needs an update.
So overall the stay was ok but not the best. The staff were friendly and helpful so I cannot fault them on that. The place felt out dated and could do with a refurbishment.

Great location with friendly staff. However, the renovation appears to be old and dirty. No hot water in the bathroom. Slow wifi. Found and killed two cockroaches on last night of stay. Will not come back again.
