“OK for the money, don't use the pool!”
The Manhatten is a budget hotel, worth the low price per night that I paid. The lobby is very nice, as was the included breakfast buffet. Nice selection and very good service. Now the budget part. The hotel hallway carpets were stained and smelled mouldy. The room was decent and clean, but the bed was as hard as nails. The worse part, was the hotel swimming pool. I tried it once, and the next day developed a cold and respiratory infection. Can't prove it was the pool's fault, but I think it was. Close examination of the water revealed what I thought looked like a lot of crap floating around in the water. They really need to drain the pool and refill with fresh water. However, overall, I was satisfied with the Manhatten, as it was inexpensive and close to all the Sukhumvit Road things-to-do.
