we reserved this hotel not knowing anything about Bangkok areas and this worked out great! It is further from the central downtown so its quiet and friendly. they have a restaurant on site with good food, no breakfast but right outside the front door is a small cafe that was excellent! everyplace delivers so that was easy too. and a good massage across the street too!

There were very noisy neighbours next to us who were loud & till all hours of the night. Seems that if the hotel only gives you 2 bath towels & you need more.. they CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING on top of the fee we already paid.

Lovely Stay in Style
Lovely people and very helpful in booking a grab taxi. Also the gym and swimming pool like an oasis in the city. My family loved it. Except for the internet speed, everything was excellent!

Great little eclectic place to stay
Absolutely loved the quirkiness of the decor, it was the main reason we chose this hotel over the others in the same area. Loved how we had a small balcony and big trees right next to it. There were birds singing beautifully every morning. Staffs were lovely and helpful. Hotel was nice and clean, and in good condition. It had everything we needed. The WiFi was quite troublesome though. But we were informed that they’re in the process of changing their ISP. The surrounding area was good, we felt safe walking around at night. But had to be careful anytime we walked on the road as there was not much space to safely navigate. Hotel was easy to reach, had 7-11 close by and a nice little dry cleaning shop right opposite. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Bangkok.

Funky place.
Really cool hotel. Great facilities. Clean. Comfy bed. Location not brilliant as far from a lot of activities and main hub of Bangkok. Quiet though so that's nice. Pool good to cool off.

Good Pleasant Stay
Whole place is very creatively &refreshingly decorated. Check-in was easy even though my Thai's limited to greetings &thanks. Staff from front desk, bellhop, cafe &pool are helpful and friendly. Breakfast from the cafe was limited from a choice of a few sets but adequate by qty and good by quality. Wifi coverage's good but requires periodic sign-ins. My room was styled as pictured & had a safe that was already locked - didn't need it anyway. The bed was on the firm side which I liked &the pillows are good - Slept well. Shower was with electric heater but didn't use it as the weather was warm - overall toilet/shower facilities functional. Saw an earbud beside the bedside table but otherwise room felt clean. Gym and pool with toilet/changing facilities located at an adjacent property above a carpark - probably 30 secs to walk through decorated alley to get there. Gym is naturally ventilated & adequately maintained without sweat marks or rust that got in the way. Pool water looked like it could be clearer so gave that a miss. Garden outside cafe decorated creatively as well & pleasant to sit about. Distance of hotel is 30-40 mins walk to Sutthisan MRT station with some stretches of the on-again-off-again sidewalk barely being a foot wide. Motorbike pillion service is 25baht/way. Taxis probably being the safest option (didn't try this as only stayed for 2 nights). Overall good value for the price paid. Consideration to revisit will depend on the need to be close to the MRT.

Great hotel in Ratchada
Stayed for 9 nights in a deluxe room. Nice spacious clean room with large balcony. Mestyle place is a bit outside central Bangkok in Ratchadaphisek area. Uber or taxi is a must, but is very affordable. Nice bar area with music on Friday and Saturday nights. Pool and fitness center are also very good. Hotel staff were very helpful.

Good and cheap but a bit out of the way
A nice quirky hotel with enthusiastic staff - the theme is transport and there are bits of boat, motorbike, engine etc everywhere. Decent sized rooms. Clean with good wifi, and cheap. The breakfast is limited (a choice of small meals brought to your table, no buffet) and not particularly good. Main downside is the location, a 15 minute walk from Suttisan MRT station, 20 minute walk to Lad Prao Rd, so you need to use taxis. But even if you walk (\s I liked to) you could be in Sukhumvit in 25 minutes or in Siam Square in 40, so it is still fairly central.

Just nice
On the first day, we were given a big and stylish room with a big balcony. We were satisfied. The room and toilet was clean, but the water heater was faulty. Requested for a change of room and I'm glad that they accepted our request and gave us a new room. But this time, the room that they gave us is much more smaller with balcony as well, but it was "just nice" for 2 person. Enjoyed our stay, the bed was really fine, sleep really really well. This hotel design is unique whereby i saw a couple came to the hotel to utilise the hotel design for a wedding photoshoot, so cool. I have no regrets with the rooms and services, except for the hotel's restaurant, "Me Style cafe". The breakfast they serve were awful, not worth the price they charge. Not much options to choose in the menu for Breakfast. Me style cafe (hotel cafe) didn't meet my expectation. I would rate it 7/10 for the price they gave us. Not bad but cool.

Very artsy
Very cool looking place! The decor is very different then any hotel I have stayed at. They actually know how to make a great cocktail at the bar. Very rare for Thailand. A visit to the bar and restraunt is recomended. Service a bit lacking but the food and drinks ate great! Cool area outside to kick back and lounge. Also have a good sized pool. I'm sure we will be back.

Wonderful hotel but HORRIBLE & RUDE service.
At least 20 minutes away from Sutthisan station. The staff should not be working in the hotel industry. Unhelpful and *very rude*. Upon arriving, was handed a map when asked about routes and places. Those in the restaurant kept asking for payment for breakfast when our hotel deal included breakfast. That should not have happened when they did ask for hotel room number to confirm on a list they had. Intended to hire motorcycle taxi (made available by the hotel). However, staff handling the calls slammed down the phone twice. One night, the WIFI was not working. Called reception for help. First call, was asked to wait a moment and hung up immediately. Second call, the staff slammed the phone down. Had to go down to the lobby and enquired. There were 3 personnel at the reception. The male staff handling the calls did not apologise or explain his behaviour and actions. The only positive aspect of the experience was the prompt housekeeping.

Extremely nice hotel but restaurant staff poor
This hotel is very nice. The decorations are plentiful and really give the place character of its own. It's not extremely close to the main shopping area, about a 15-30 minute taxi depending on traffic which there is usually quite a bit. The room was very comfortable and clean. Satellite tv with many channels on a nice Samsung lcd tv. Most staff did not speak English well although there was always at least one person on duty who could. My biggest complaint is with the restaurant. The servers were some of the rudest I've ever come across. They were absolutely miserable and would not smile or even look at you if you said hello. I made eye contact once to ask for something and one of them rolled her eyes before walking slowly towards me. I ate at the restaurant several times but only for the convenience, certainly not for the staff. The management should really look into this issue. With that being said, if you don't mind being a small distance away from tourist areas this hotel truly is very nice, especially for the price. There are still many restaurants, stalls, and convenience stores all around you so it's not isolated by any means either.

Out of the Way, But Worth Finding
First off, the MeStyle Place is pretty tucked away in a somewhat remote neighborhood and it make take some time to find. But, once you do arrive, you're in for a treat. It's a cute, quirky boutique hotel with really interested decor and a friendly staff. I had the junior suite room and it was absolutely huge. The bathroom was large and the room actually came with two beds (I was under the impression it only had one). The air conditioner worked like a charm and the room was clean and tidy every single day. My only disappointment was that the room didn't have a balcony, which I thought it did have. But, that was just a minor issue. The food was pretty standard stuff. I only ate breakfast there a couple of mornings and the "breakfast included" packaged included the choice of one of three "American" style breakfasts - fried eggs with ham and bacon, scrambled eggs with ham and bacon, and lastly an omelette with ham and bacon. Each was serviceable, not entirely great, but good enough before a busy day in Bangkok. Like most Thai hotels, you DO need to pay a deposit when you check in and this deposit is in cash. MeStyle Place was great for my needs and I'll definitely be returning in the future. While it would have been nice to be located a bit closer to some sights and sounds, the quiet neighborhood that it is located in actually makes a great respite in this entirely chaotic and busy city.

Hotel was fine. But the hotel staff were not accommodating at all. We had to talk to 6 different staff members to organise a paid upgrade as our original booking was for two people but we needed a room for three. We had to pay 80 baht per pillow to have more pillows. And drinking water was also at an extra cost. Not one staff member understood english

BEWARE WATER PUMP!
Before I booked, I read every review I could find. Not one mentioned the loud water pump, which you can hear even at night, nor the fact that you can feel vibrations in the room when 'planes fly nearby. When I switched my aircon off, I could hear loud aircon from neighbours. There are fountains outside the entrance, but the pop music in the lobby is reproduced even outside. The helpfulness of the staff cannot compensate for the noise nuisances.

First Taste of Bangkok
I had initially booked Mestyle Place, as it was close to my gf's place. Even from the pictures, they do not do this place justice. The rooms are insane and the decor of the entire hotel made this place just really cool overall. If you are looking to walk out the lobby of the hotel and have everything right there, this is probably not the best place for you, although they do have convenience stores and massage within walking distance. For the money, the rooms are decorated really super cool, and you get plenty of room as they use the space well. Definitely worth the cost of the stay!!

A style of its own
The decor and style of the hotel was awesome. Very eclectic and tastefully done at the same time. Staying here was definitely an experience in itself. The staff was courteous and the food was awesome. The pool and workout areas were both staffed and well equipped. If anything lacked it would be the location of the hotel as it was hard for our cabby to find it.

Stylish hotel in need of many improvements
With a few functional tweaks and improved maintenance, this beautiful and stylish property could be so much more desirable to stay at. Due to various issue (all correctable if ownership so desires) during my 4 night stay in January 2015, I ended up moving rooms TWICE: dirty rooms (cobwebs and dust in plain sight), bathroom window fixed in open position letting in an army of mosquitos, spiders and gnats (even the maintenance guy was surprised that the window doesn't close, but apparently that's the case with all rooms with that floor plan), room safes are not bolted down to anything (just sitting on a shelf), room layouts are a bit awkward (unless you opt for a suite, there's no closet or drawers to place clothes in, just a few open shelves), the white light on the air conditioner by the bed is super bright making it hard to sleep, gym floor is filthy (looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months), lots of mosquitos inside the lobby lounge area, wifi is painfully slow.

This hotel is Far away from everything. Room was awful and full of roaches and ants, I was going to leave same night but it was to late to change the hotel so i just waited till the morning but i slept with the lights on because of the roaches. When i returned back home my wife unpacked my bags and found dead roaches from this hotel. Do not waste your money on this place.

Retro,unique, stylish hotel
The decoration and design of this hotel is very retro, unique and stylish. The room is bright and clean and is enough for a family of three. Staff can understand and speak English. They ask for 2000 bhats cash deposit and will return upon check out. We had porridge or two slices of bread, two eggs and beacon for breakfast. The location is secluded, deep inside the busy city of Huay Kwang and you have to take a cab to Huay Kwang MRT and vice versa. It took us almost 40 mins to walk from the hotel to the Mrt. It was a reasonable price as it is a boutique hotel and we are out the whole day and only be back at night to rest. The last day of our stay, there is a wedding couple having photo shoot in this hotel. Overall we had a pleasant stay with Mestyle place!
