Excellent Internet connection in the rooms. Excellent breakfast. Close to many things of interest. English speaking front desk. Clean rooms. Excellent a.c. don't get scared when you come to the entrance of the hotel. Its very unpretentious. Very safe. Not posh but I stayed here 5 nights and it was comfortable. Tours available on the premises.

close to kao san rd, but far enough away to be anpPosted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Less than 5 min walk to all San road and even better rambuttri road. However it's much saner than those. Right on the canal. Connected to Nuovo Hotel so they share a lot of amenities. Breakfast was really good. The attached Nuovo Hotel's restaurant, Sara, looked like it catered just to westerners (bland looking, though we didn't eat there so I can't say for sure) so we went across the street to Comfy House and had the best food we've had in our entire month in Thailand!!!

DisappointingPosted Jun 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have stayed here many times, but I was very disappointed this time...I booked a room with either a city view or river view from my comfortable balcony, but what I got was a view of 144 backs of air con machines & a wall. The noise form all those machines doesn't exactly make a person feel comfortable.. The hotel itself & staff are nice though, & the location is ideal for me..I'd still stay there again, but will make sure I get an actual view next time.

Large, clean hotel room with an mini-fridge, but we did have a cockroach in the shower on the first night. The property is close to river ferry and Khao San Road, but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. The air conditioning took a long time (hours) to cool off the whole room, and we could not leave it on while we were out, since you needed the room key to activate it. The breakfast was very nice -- a good assortment of food, coffee tea & juice. The front desk staff was very helpful. It is a non-smoking hotel, but allows smoking on the room balconies. Despite feeling like a budget hotel, they provide bottled water daily, along with in-room safe, robes and slippers.

Huge disappointmentPosted Feb 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Old hotel with paper thin walls letting you hear absolutely everything going on in the hallways. Its also quite a ways out of any public transport so you are forced to rely on taxis or tuk tuks.
Clean and close to river boatPosted Jan 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent location, a short walk away from river boat and clean and comfortable!

Fairly quiet for the areaPosted Jan 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We liked it here, the staff are friendly & the rooms are ok & have a canal view. It's fairly quiet for the area & most guests tried to come & go without disturbing anyone else which makes a change in the Khao San area. We've decided to stay again when we are in Bangkok.

Not BadPosted Dec 17, 2012
Pros: Nice location
Cons: A little bit tired in places.
Location: By the side of a canal
Overall not too bad for the price. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Nice location right by the canal and only a short walk (5-10mins) from the Khao San rd.

Arrogant Management!Avoid like the Plague!Posted Nov 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
Although the location is unsurpassed,be aware that the Promo material and facilities refer to another hotel in the same complex(Back to Back) called Nuovo World City Hotel. There were problems with the TV and the AC.Also, the power sockets in the room were two pin Slit-type, not fitting my standard Laptop three pin roud plug. When I asked the Front office for an adaptor,I was told to buy one from the 7-11(costing 130 B)!.When I went to meet the General manager to apprise him of my needs,I was brusquely told that he was busy(his words);this esteemed gentleman actually walked away from me! When I stood my ground,a half hearted attempt was made to address my concerns.
