Air-con not working in the room and it take more that an hour to check and change room. Water from the bathroom tap are yellow and brown through up my stay. Found cockroach in the room. Most taxi driver did not know the hotel location.

Still a bargain for Bangkok. Neighborhood not that great, but close to subway.

great parrotPosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
hotel wasn't very far away from the siam paragon mall, around 10 min, about 100B (but off course the taxi man charged more than usual). hotel lobby is spacious and cosy, modern also, but the room we had was old fashioned. i'm not sure if the hotel is under revamp or not, but everything except the lobby and restaurant is old fashioned. completely opposite to what they have in the display pictures. the pool is small and closes at 7pm which is silly,in my opinion. gym is bleak. breakfast in the morning is good. staff at the front desk are ok,sometimes they speak in their our language so your not quiet sure whether they mocking you or not??? from the road side it looks a little dodge but all in all its average.

Poor telphone service when calls are receivedPosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The front desk lads are not always attentive although they understand English well enough. Also, telephone calls are not always put through to the room - and also the hotel told callers I had not checked in when I had hours earlier. My friends living in Bangkok were very annoyed with this level of service from The Pinnacle.

Great LocationPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall, the stay at Pinnacle was relatively ok. The bed was comfortable and lovely hot shower. Surrounding was quiet at night which makes for great sleep. Unfortunately, I am not sure if the 3 mineral bottles in the fridge is complementary. Perhaps the management is able to put a small card in the fridge next to the 3 bottles to inform if complementary or not. MRT is just minutes from the hotel for easy assessibility. Also, there was not toothbrush or tooth paste, Just a slight note.

Overall, a pleasant stayPosted Jun 30, 2013
Pros: Location and value for money.
Cons: Furnishings and Decor a little dated with some aspects of the room requiring some attention.
Location: The location is in a very popular and handy part of Bangkok, but the price is modest.
The hotel's in a great location on Soi 1 just off Rama IV. Lumpini MRT is a short walk down the road which is your gateway to the entire city. There are many pharmacies, convenience stores, local restaurants nearby, which is handy The gym was fine to use also. The free WiFi in the room worked really well and I was surprised that it did after reading some negative comments about it before the trip. As my heading suggests, it was a pleasant stay overall and I will book this hotel again next time I travel to Bangkok.

Near MRT, but thats it!Posted Jun 25, 2013
Pros - Location 3/4 mins walk to MRT station Cons- Booked deluxe room was given standard room. Staff communications hopeless asked to pre-book at taxi for 5am, was told better to come down and ask when needed. Also requested a 4.30am wake-up call never happened, thank god i set my own alarm. Bed hard as a rock

They charged me for nuts in the mini bar.I had no peanuts in the mini bar and i did'nt eat them.I don't like being charged for peanuts,I never had.I accidently opened a water they charged me for that but did not give me the water to keep.I did not argue with them I just paid. But I will never stay in their chain again all over the ill will of a bag of peanuts.
