“Great except don't look out from your balcony”

I just needed an overnight near the airport so I could catch an early connecting flight so didn't care much about the neighborhood and was happy with the hotel cleanliness and location until I went out on my balcony and saw and smelled that it overlooked a garbage dump!

“Bangkok Stay”

Outstanding service, it was great being organized and picked up at the airport. There was a lady from the hotel that handled my check in, she was very nice and took charge, the helped with my bags to the hotel, and the same thing happened when I got to my check in. The team was just outstandiing.

“Fair Enough”

Probably the nicest place I stayed in Thailand. I was however backpacking the whole time so the places I had been staying in were rather disgusting.

“Good for a Stopover, not for a holiday!”

My husband and I stayed in Bangkok overnight between flights. This hotel was an excellent choice for transit passengers - they had a free shuttle to and from the airport, which was close by. If you're staying in Bangkok for sightseeing however, I would not recommend this hotel. It's too far away from the downtown area (Khao San Rd, etc.). Thestandard room we had included a kitchenette, and a large double bed with a small balcony outside. It was very reasonably priced.

Area recommendations

Downtown near Khao San Road and the Palace. In this area everything is within walking distance, and you won't waste so much money on cabs or tuktuks!

Shopping

Khao San is a must-see! Plenty of fun places to go, and neat things to buy. Keep an eye on your wallet, though!

“Not impressed.”

The hotel is relative close to the international airport - which is convenient for late night arrival or early morning departure. The staff was friendly and helpful. The quality of the room, however, is not up to my expectations. The mattress was very hard (feeling like sleeping on a hardwood floor). It took awhile for the air condition to kick in. So, it was very uncomfortable when I first walked into the room. My room was over looking a recycle plant. I could smell the garbage in my room. The price of the room was reasonable with a free airport transportation. I would not stay at this hotel if the location is further away from the airport.

“Don't count on the wakeup call.”

This hotel is described as being close to the airprt, which it is as the crow flys. But via the highway it's about 15-20 min. The neighborhood is not the safest feeling, but it is walking distance to a mall. The resturant next door had the worst food I ate during my 2 weeks in Thailand. Most concerning was that we would have missed our early am flight if I had relied on the wakeup call from the front desk. It came about 10 min. before the shuttle to the airport left. Luckily I set a seperate alarm. The shuttle barely got us to the airport in time and dropped us off at a door quite distant from our airline area. In short, find another hotel if you are looking for one near the airport.
