“My favorite Bangkok hotel”

I was impressed with just about everything in this hotel. Everyone was courteous and pleasant and my room was immaculate. I liked its contemporary design and everything worked well. While the room size was a little small, it was not that small by Asian standards. The breakfast buffet was very good, with much to choose from and a chef in waiting to (modestly) customize my omelet. One can choose between Asian or Western breakfasts. The common areas were spotless as well and the elevator was smooth and silent. There is nothing bad that I can say about this hotel, which is why I have rebooked it for an overnight on my upcoming return flight to the states. It should be noted however, that this is a new hotel - maybe only open one year - so I hope that I will be able to give a similar review when I return in the future. Overall, I consider this to be among the best values I have found in Bangkok.

S Sukhumvit Suites is in a brilliant location, close to touristy areas, the skytrain (BTS), and the subway (MRT). The design of the hotel is rather unusual (lots of twists and turns steps, rather than the usual straight hallways). More importantly, the rooms are stylish and very clean. I wouldn't call them large, but they were big enough for 1-2 people. The breakfast was about what you'd expect for this level of hotel and featured an egg station and some hot asian dishes; they didn't have much in the way of pastries, though, so perhaps better suited for asian tastes than western tastes. The free internet worked well most of the time. Also, the staff were very nice and occasionally surprised me by doing more than I would have expected. I would definitely recommend this hotel. One major caveat, however, is that they are doing construction right next door. I will say that although I was facing it, I didn't even bother asking for another room (mostly because I usually woke up early anyway).

“S Sukhumvit Suites- lovely cozy little hotel!!”

Had a lovely 2 day stay, chose this mostly coz of the fantastic location, could just hop onto the BTS ....lovely hotel to explore the city and a very friendly front desk....nice and cozy stay and brilliantly maintained. Very reasonably priced, considering the locality , quality of service and cleanliness. The only little drawback is the rooms really dont have much of any view to boast of, though there isnt much of a 'view' in the Sukhumvit locality as such.....but very satisfied with our stay. Cheers!!

“Great find!”

I had a hard time deciding between two hotels but was very glad I chose the Sukhumvit Suites. The staff were extremel;y attentive (perhaps a little overly so) and the restaurant food was very good. LOVED their sticky rice and mango dessert! The advertised TV channels weren't all available though and my TV had two black lines running vertically down the screen. Despitye these minor issues, I'll certainly return to this hotel in the future as is good value for money overall.

“Could be much better.”

Next to building site. Wifi unreliable. No swimming pool. Probably good value to some travellers but wasn't impressed as much better available close by for same price. Staff attitude was good but wasn't enough.
