MismatchPosted Jul 14, 2014
The experience was a great mismatch from the photos provided. The lights were malfunctioning, the shelf was broken, the shower head was not working, there were lizards and mosquitoes in the room. The rooms had little noise cancellation, we could hear our neighbours' night rendezvous all too clearly. The hotel had no lifts and you have to carry your own luggage up the stairs. Moreover, it was located in a dark alley that even the taxi drivers had difficulties finding. The alley is not lit in the night so it is probably not advisable to be walking alone, especially if you are a female. While it was located near the airport link, you have to pay 15-25baht to get to a station where u could board the MRT or the BTS to get to most of the tourist locations.

Not exactly a 'boutique resort'...Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Sky Train station.
Cons: Change the name. It is not a resort let alone a boutique resort. Include breakfast for the price. Do maintenance work to keep up the the times.
Location: As above, close to the train.
This place is fine for a one night stop over. It's very dated, old and rough round the edges and in no way close to a 'boutique resort' like the name suggests. The one up side is that it is a 5 minute walk from the Sky Train station. No breakfast included. Also, expect your taxi drive to get lost, this place is really hard to find!!

Friendly staff, hotel close to the railway stationPosted May 22, 2014
Pros: the location and the staff.
Cons: The cleaniless. If you check te top areas, under the bed, the corners of the bathroom, the taps, some of that places are very dirty.
Location: Nearby to shops and the railway station.
Good location there a lot of shops nearby, if you want to go to other areas you can go to the railway station, is cheap and easy. The hotel have a good staff (English speakers) that can help you. We didn't like the cleaniless a lot of places in our room were dirty and some of them weren't clean a long time. But is good for the cost of the hotel

Kind staff but very bad locationPosted Apr 18, 2014
The staff was really nice to us and helpfull. The hotel was located in a difficult place to reach by any kind of public transport. Even the taxis didn't know how to get there, we had to use a map in thai to show them the way. It is very near to shopping malls (10min walking) and to airtrain but very far from Old town or China town.

S2S Boutique Resort Hotel, BangkokPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Its quiet
Cons: The head board keeps sinking, the sliding door isn't smooth and gets stuck besides being noisy with scratchy sound, the room could do with more colour
Location: its a little out of the way, one can walk around, there's shopping, local food to try,
The bathroom's sliding door was a pain to the ears most of the time with sharp squeking sound. The phone was not working. The gap between the foot of the bed on the right side and the edge of the mini fridge with the tv above it is just far too narrow, one has to constantly watch one's foot so that you dont hit it against the bed for the mini fridge. Perhaps, the hotel may want to consider using stained glass instead for the bathroom door, as in case one's other half is using the facility, and the other person needs to answer the door or has a guest or anyone at the door, there's totally no PRIVACY. The bathroom door faces the main door and its see through!!! Its also a surprise to us as there is no lift at all, imagine carrying your bags up the stairs. It should be displayed on the website of this LIMITATION Most of the people we met were very polite, nice and go out of their way to assist you with directions, instructions to the Tuk Tuk driver, very pleasant people

Ok for the pricePosted Dec 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nothing fancy but well located close to airport link station. They didn't clean the room on the second day even though I put the sign on the door. Overall an ok place.

Not like pictures but nice servicePosted Dec 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
The condition of the rooms weren't like in the pictures. It's more a hostel than a boutique hotel. The towels had marks on them despite appearing clean and the rooms need airing as there was a stuffy aroma. The location isn't ideal for first-timers to the city. It's in the far back side of the one-way road and at night the road is fairly dark. Although we had no problem walking approximately 4 minutes to the main road, at night it might be a bit scary if travelling alone. It's also tricky to get to; not many taxi's know where it is so those unable to communicate in Thai to the taxi's might find it difficult to get to without a map, which is available at the hotel but could do with being a bit clearer as one taxi driver struggled to read the Thai map we had with us. The staff, however, are lovely and helpful. They speak English well and were happy to help facilitate our needs as much as possible. The resident dog Bubu is also an added cute factor for any dog lover missing their pet whilst on vacation. The facilities and room conditions would suit backpackers rather than families looking for cheap accommodation in the city.
