Quiet area Has shuttle bus but never used it i like to walk Close to 7-11 shop But if you use the shuttle bus then everything is very near trains ,massage shops, shopping, and entertainment Room size ok could do with a paint job but overall a worthwhile stay

I stayed here just before xmas 2022 and had an overall great experience. The staff was all smiles and friendly, especially Eye and Oui (If I am spelling the names right! Thanks for wonderful service all around. And they have a free shuttle to take you up to Sukhumvit road, which is convenient. Great location! Comfortable bedding! Everything was great!

Nice boutique hotel
Room is very clean and staff from front desk to maid service to security are all very good. Good location near restaurants and a short walk to Nana BTS sky train station.

Boutique hotel with great staff
The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly!! Praewwa was able to get repairs done quickly for some needed repairs in the bathroom. Also assisted with taxi booking. Luggage storage is also available as well as 24 hour security. Room is also cleaned very well on a daily basis.

Pleasant and friendly, good location
Perfectly good small hotel close to the sky-train and other attractions in Bangkok. We stayed for just one night before our flight back to the UK but found this hotel to be comfortable, well equipped, and the staff offered friendly service. The hotel is about 10 mins walk to the nearest train station and 15 minutes to the famous terminal 21 mall. They also offer a shuttle golf-cart to the main road to eliminate the walk. Rooms nicely equipped, easy to use air-con and whilst small, the room was perfect for a 1 night stopover. The bed was a firm spring one, and we did notice that if your partner moved about in bed then you would know about it, but we still slept really well. We had an issue with the hot water however the hotel responded immediately and the staff member fixed the issue within a few minutes, and was also very polite and courteous. Breakfast was fine, and being a smaller hotel than many in Bangkok there wasn't as much choice as you may be used to but it was all of reasonable quality, and in fact was the best rice soup I had experienced for breakfast compared to the other 3 hotels we stayed at on our holiday. I would stay here again when visiting Bangkok.

Bed very comfortable room on the small side but clean however the bathroom shower area had at least 10 cracked tiles the grouping at lower level black shower curtain black at bottom. Towels over used the room needs updating as is shabby and overall the lighting was dim no easy chair but stool

Wouldn’t book if I have a vehicle
Advertised as car parking. Doesn’t have. If I wanted to park on the street and get up to move the car every night as parking alternate sides per day I would have booked a place without a car park, oh that’s right it doesn’t have. Hotels. Com should delete from their listings do I get a refund for false advertising. Oh and charged for a bottle of water after a weeks stay despite using my labor moving vehicles. Good luck if you book with a vehicle.

For the price that you are paying, there shouldn’t be high expectations. Overall it’s a decent accommodation. Just that it’s a little far to walk out of the alley.

Nice centrally located 3-star in quiet lane
Stayed 3 nights. No complaints about the room. Stayed in their best room which was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good quality and the menu was varied each day. Lots of restaurants and bars in the soi near the main road.

Small rooms with nicotine dripping from walls
I paid 500 to get in to my room early, no receite so i gurss it's a little scam the staff has on the side. I was given a room in the old part og the building next to the back stairs reeking of years of smoking and asked to get a new room. So they gave me a new one on the same old floor. This was a room they originally had cut in half to make an extra room. It was so small one could hardly manage to turn around, nothing like the luxus been promised on my intinary. Anyway i was just staying for two nights so i did not make a fuzz. The staff at this place was very friendly and helpful in any way one wanted exept giving me a room in the new part of the hotel. Unhappy Experience
I stayed at Salil Hotel at Soi 8, Sukhumvit. Room was too small. Telephone didn't work. Staff were friendly. No lobby. Reception area smelled food from the attached restaurant. I will find other hotels to stay next time.

Excellent for the price
It was a great hotel for such a cheap price. The room was a bit tight but it was good for a couple of nights. Friendly staff and walkable.

Staffs lax attitude encourages scammers
Spend 8 days in Bangkok with no incident UNTIL arriving at sukhumvit soi 8. Taxi service from the airport tried to pull a well-known scam of “forgetting to use the meter” - the posted rate card clearly showed that the fair that was supposed to be 250Baht. All of sudden the driver understood English once we refused to pay the 700Baht that he claimed we agreed. The hotel “staff” then intervened but on the TAXI Drivers behalf – arguing that we should pay the fair or the driver would call the police. Later approached by the same guy to ask if we’d be interested in seeing the Grand Palace. We select 1/2 tour. Should have known better than to trust the Taxi driver’s ally! Picked up at 7am & driven to 8 hotels, switched shuttles to “pick up guests;” our guide then leaves for ½ hour to find a lost guests. By 10:30 we had spent hours on a shuttle with our destination nowhere in sight. We call Mr. Rattanopas, tour company owner, but reached hotel reception. We explained we’re in Chinatown - not the Grand Palace. The front desk staff were unhelpful/unprofessional - although” not associated” with Exclusive Tours Thailand Co., Ltd they allow this company to run shop from their lobby plus to list their hotel phone/address on his business card. The staff doesn’t get that if you allow someone to do business in your business that directly affects you. Unfortunate that so many people try the “don’t speak English” trip to manipulate situations. Very difficult to have anything good to comment.

Okay for the price but not great.
They offer a free golf cart transfer to and from the main road (near the Nana BTS). We had an issue with pipe work going on outside so were without water for 13 hours. Despite this, the staff refused to give us a free late checkout and said it would be 500 baht. We thought about this option and ultimately decided to go for it. When we returned to the counter, the staff said it would be 800 baht for late check out. I'm unsure if the staff just makes up the charge each time or what. It seemed a bit weird. The room was okay--bed was very hard but the AC worked well and the size was good. The shower did not have good pressure (we were on the third floor) and it was very difficult to have it hold a single temperature (it was either cold or boiling hot). Overall, the room and location were okay for the price.

Peaceful location
Like the peacefulness of the street. Although the hotel is located deep inside but we don't have any problem reaching bts station or 711 as it provides buggy For 24 hours. Overall is good until you met a crazy customers who staying next to you shouting and laughing in the midnight.

Spacious rooms, positive experience
Our stay at the Salil Hotel was a positive experience. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Bangkok. Pros: location close to sky train, free golf cart shuttle service, large comfortable room, friendly staff, clean rooms, air conditioning, great wifi, great area for food, massage and shopping Cons: walk back from Sukuhmvit without golf cart was about 10 minutes each time. Thank you for great customer service and a great visit!
