“I was there for only 20 minutes and I give it a zero”
After a long plane ride and trying not to be ripped off from the taxi driver, I arrived to the hotel. The hotel location was off on a side street that the taxi driver couldn't find, even when I showed him a map. The service was no where to be found and the service person at the front desk was asleep, hunched over on the desk. The condition of the hotel was clean with very dim lights. The room had red solidified stuff on the floor, hope it was nail polish. There were ants crawling up and down the walls and the bedsheets were stained. Then I saw a bed bug on the wall.... I got out immediately. The neighborhood, at night, was pretty seedy and I was solicited by a few prostitutes on the way to and when I left the hotel. It was my first night in Bangkok and I wanted to go home. I tried to be as objective as possible. It was definitely a culture shock. I rate this hotel a zero
