“First Visit to Bangkok”

The hotel is a gorgeous, modern facility with numerous amenities and exceptional service. The staff are more than happy to provide the personalized service that the Thai are known for and demonstrate it on a regular basis. Services include multiple themed restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Italian, buffet, piano bar), pool/spa/gym, outdoor courtyard, and a nail & hair salon, though not as widely advertised. The hotel has a "Groovy Map" in the room for sale and is a great purchase that was very helpful! I brought adaptors to use in foreign countries (recommend it), but the outlet in the bathroom is only for small appliances such as an electric razor. Also, the blow dryer is provided in front by the computer outlet and can only be plugged into those outlets. I didn't find out about it until the third day, so my hair was happy after that. The location is not what I would consider a central location, but I don't know if I would classify any hotel as being in the middle of any particular district. Taxis, skytrain (train) and tuk tuks are common forms of transportation, but beware that Bangkok is not a "walker-friendly" city. Traffic is one of the highest areas in the world, so don't expect to get anywhere quickly unless you take the train. I loved this hotel and staff and would definitely return if in Bangkok again.

Hotel's location good for skytrain, taxis and tuk tuks. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel spotless, food 5 star and deco to be some of the London hotels.

We stayed at the Siam City Hotel at the end of a three week holiday in Thailand and we could not fault the comfort, food, cleanliness and quality. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful and would recommend anyone travelling to Bangkok to stay here. it was five star all the way. It was located near the sky train and taxis were in abundance and very cheap.

Very good service, great clean rooms on the executive floor. Wasn't much to look at from the 23rd floor, but that's Bangkok not the hotel.

“Perfect location near train”

The Siam hotel was great! Our room was clean and comfortable and had a good shower. The location was easy walking distance to and from the train. The breakfast buffet was yummy and had a good selection of foods to eat. Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed due to renovations.

Service and professionalism of staff were great as staff were not phased by fact that we had arrived for check in 6 hours too early. Instead, they tried to accommodate us to the best of their ability and even went as far as having a 2nd room ready in less than an hour and provided us with a complimentary fruit basket. Our room was spacious and very clean.

“Ok for a short trip”

This hotel is comfortable and located close to the shopping area of Paragon City. It is excellent location for those wishing to do some shopping in Bangkok yet not that ideal for main tourist attractions. The room was comfortable, clean and very modern, however, the hallways and other public areas are somewhat run down.
