日本人女性スタッフがいて安心しました。 BTSアソーク駅と 地下鉄が近くて便利 なな駅とプロンポン駅も歩いていけるよ!

Tradeshow at the Sofitel

Pros: Location, professional staff, restaurants, come to mind as positives for the Sofitel experience.
The stay at the Sofitel was great. Restaurants at the hotel or nearby, shopping available within short walking distance, and a professional staff for assistance for the trade show materials if needed. A wonderful hotel and is up to the standards of the Sofitel series of hotels. I recommend the hotel.

Room had a bad odor. Reported to staff and they were kind enough to upgrade me and provide buffet breakfast on the house. Great service.

poor quality with expensive charge

I live from 13Nov to 19Nov in Sofitel Sukhumvit Bangkok hotel with room number1203. I am very disappointed for below issues. First, big problem in the construction of shower room. The water will come out to toilet room when shower. We will get wet every time going to toilet even though putting a towel and anti-slip carpet on the floor of toilet room. There is one time my wife nearly fall down on the wet floor. Secondly and the most serious, when 4:30 midnight on 16-Nov, we sleep very well but suddenly wake up by noise. I then discover the noise come from near room 1204. 2 hotel staff were cleaning up the room 1204 and making noise. Becasue the room door is very poor to trap the sound, we can hear the noise clearly. I complain to the guest service and then hear the voice become smaller but not stop. Unluckily I am not easy to sleep again. I think it will not happen even though in a 3 star hotel. The last but not the least, no shower cap, comb and only 1 toothbrush put in the room. I need to get it by request your guest service. But I think it should be basic items put in room before check in. In addition, only 1 color of toothbrush i.e. clear handle for 2 people. Most hotels will provide 2 different color of toothbrush for 2 people to distinguish. After I complaint to the hotel manager, they just gave me a complimentary vehicle service from hotel to the airport.

nice hotel close to skytrain station/street market

Location: nice restaurant with live music, just 1 block away called Zanzibar
Hotel is on Sukhumvit Rd, close to Nana sky train station and night market. It is business oriented, so not much entertainment available on its premises. A few things that make it 3 out of 5 star rating: 1. musty odor in the room, not improved after few days of constant AC on 2. very cold water in the swimming pool 3. noise from neighborhood construction - also in the evening 4. breakfast not included in the price 5. wake up call on the day of departure was 1 hour earlier...

Nice Hotel in a busy area

I have been there 1st week of November 2014. Everything about the hotel is superb. The only minor complaint is their charging you for a small thing like a local phone call , or charging too much for a few hours late check out or a decent internet speed. I am more than willing to pay a few percent more on the room charge than to be charged for minor things.I really enjoyed staying there.

Great Hotel stay

Everything about this Hotel was top notch from the service of all the staff to the quality of the rooms and the food. Very eager to help during my stay and answered all of my questions I had had about staying in Bangkok. Coming back in December and January.
