Airport Hotel

Posted Mar 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall for an airport hotel if coming in late or leaving early it was ideal, just a 5 minute drive away. Strange location because no shops or restaurants close, but there is a restaurant at hotel and no one would base their holiday here! Nice pool area, room clean and comfortable, young staff a bit busy on computer games to help you! Taxi ride to Bangkok is about 30 mins and can range in price from 800 baht to 275 baht depending on whether you get a metered taxi!

Ok hotel in the middle of nowhere

Posted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: Pool, restaurant.
Cons: The service. Items provided in the room eg handsoap, not just a soap dispenser in the shower and maybe even a minibar.
Location: Very close to the airport - 15 minutes in a cab. Nothing else nearby.
Went here as I had a one night stopover. The hotel is fine. The pool and restaurant are actually quite nice. The rooms are basic but the beds are quite large and the air conditioner works. The most disappointing thing was the staff. They were surly and unhelpful on check in, and again later when I went to ask a question. The hotel is also miles from anywhere, so there's nothing nearby to walk to. A fine place if you just need a bed to crash in but nowhere you'd want to be for any amount of time.

Great hotel for overnight near airport with kids

Posted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Close to airport, boutique (hate big resorts), affordable, clean and pool was lovely and refreshing between flights.
Cons: Better service in restaurant - although noticed after a while that we were supposed to ring the bell for service (had wondered why staff ignoring us)
Location: Location 10 min taxi from aiport.
Stopped for one night on way to Koh Samui. A short easy transfer from the airport and we were at our hotel. Booked two side by side rooms - very spacious - own terraces overlooking the pool.

Very pleasant environment close to Suvarnabhumi

A nice oasis near the airport to have a stop-over. Staff were very friendly and I found the room quite comfortable. Only down point is the food, or at least what I ate, was pretty average.

Never again

The hotel was just OK. The service was quite poor particularly in the restaurant. The dinner I had was sub standard. Was not expensive and not worth what I paid.

Cool hotel near the airport

Posted Jan 14, 2014
Pros: Staff, pool, restaurant.
Cons: Move the hotel to downtown San Fran
Location: 5 mins to BKK airport.
We arrived to find the Expedia reservation system somehow only booked one room when my confirm showed we were booked for 2. the hotel was full, they made an additional room for us in the spa area plus gave us a big credit we could use toward dinner. Dinner was wonderful. All the staff was very caring and tried so hard. The pool is very modern and ads to wonderful architecture around the lobby. Location was safe but not an area you would find things to do in - great for a night and a day and half. Rooms were very comfortable, especially for the price. Book it.

Cons: The bathroom was puzzling: the only way to take a shower without flooding the whole floor was laying in the tub and showering yourself from above.
Overall nice hotel, with beautiful swimming pool. A few flaws: our room was a bit dark due to lack of light sources. All of the exterior lights were also off at 6:00 in the morning, making it difficult to go down the stairs.

convenient but nice too

Very helpful staff, great location for the airport, but much better than the usual airport stopover. Well-designed, great pool, good food. Poolside and poolview rooms look ato be best. Highly recommended if you have a one night journey break and don't want to make the trek into the city. Nothing much to see or do outside.

Hidden Gem

Posted Dec 18, 2013
Pros: The room was clean, big and very comfortable, by far the best place we stayed in 17 days throughout Thailand
Cons: Only the lobby staff spoke english, but that was all we really needed anyway
Location: Not much except the airport. The hotel had all the amenities we needed, pool, food, bar and a place to sleep
We were looking for a hotel near the airport so we could catch an early morning flight. We booked the hotel online and the taxi driver took us there. The rooms were very nice, the food was very good and the pool was clean and very nice. We did get there a bit late and they didn't mind that we went straight to the pool until midnight. The campus is great and they even had a shuttle cart service to take us to our rooms from the lobby. Its a nice hidden gem of a hotel I was glad we found it.
