“Great Value”

I have visited Bangkok many times and love the Silom area. The Tawana is so central and handy to all of the local attractions including Pat Phong night markets, only 5 minutes walk. The rooms are a bit dated but the service is good and the staff all speak English and are very helpful. I would not stay anywhere else, I have tried many others.

“Annual visitor”

Very pleasant hotel. The cleanliness are same as larger Bangkok hotels, but it has a nice scale with pleasant room (ask for one with a small patio) and relaxing pool (essential during Bangkok summer). Have stayed there several times and it is my preferred hotel in Bangkok. Definitely a good value for the price.

“Best value in Silom area”

Great guest rooms, especially if you get upgraded to a deluxe room. Excellent location, easy walk to the night market and all the bars and clubs. Nice staff. Gym is not very big.

“Good choice”

Perfect location. A very comfortable and clean room (Junior Suite). The best A/C during our trip to Thailand and Cambodia. Good breakfasts.

“Great hotel in a good location.”

Great hotel, nice staff. Excellent location. Worth paying a little more for a delux room. I have stayed in the standard, deluxe and suites and the standard rooms are ok but deluxe are a lot better. Easy walk to nightlife.

“Good Hotel, ok location”

Hotel in very close proximity to Patpong night market which is very impressive and has better selection than Sukhimvit ok BK markets. Expedia rate was very good but hotel tries to get you on extras for everything. But for the money skip the breakfast. Also, Patpong is only a $3 cab ride to central Sukhimvit

“Will stay there again.”

The hotel location is very convenient. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The swimming pool is great. The standard room is spacious, clean and bright. The only very slightly negative thing is that there is not a great deal of storage space and that there are few TV channels. Overall the hotel is great value for money and I look forward to staying there again.

“Good value”

Hotel is located near entertainment and red light district. Rooms are generic but adequate considering the low cost. Good value.

“Not at all what it seems”

The hotel is OLD! The rooms are in need of reconditioning. The manditory paid breakfast turned sour when I found not one, but two roaches in the bread basket. The staff was very accomodating, however, it was obvious that the management had no clue how to treat business guests. The advertised wireless internet is NEITHER. Expect to pay for more services than the hotel is worth. And for leisure guests, the pool is not as the picture shows. The sun only hits the deck for about 3 hours a day. If that is not enough, the pool area is filthy and extremely small.
