Our stay was quiet and comfortable. The pet walk was a great place for our dog to stretch his legs. The service was excellent and we had a great night's sleep as well as a delicious breakfast!

Such an amazing stay! Tastefully patriotic with a historical feel. Besides all of the 5 star ratings for cleanliness , convenient etc., it’s the first hotel we ever stayed in where it doesn’t smell like cleaning supplies, etc.!! Felt like being at home 😍

Nice place. Clean, comfortable, secure. Great breakfast. Best bacon I’ve had since Mom’s. But the bed was horrible. We kept meeting in the middle, whether we liked it or not. I hope that ours was the abberation.

Dear Guest,I am so sorry that we are limited on how high we can turn up the hot tub. It is set at 104 degrees and will fluctuate between 102 and 104. The jets for the hot tub are working but need to be turned on. They are not automatic. When you walk in the door to your left are a row of switches that are different time settings. They range from 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Hope you have a wonderful spring.

Bathroom was dirty, shower drain didn’t work well it took forever for it to drain. Dirt in bathtub and on toilet when we arrived. Hair was tangled in the washcloths that was hanging in the bathroom. Room was very outdated and over priced!! Asked if a roll away cot was available and the night staff guy said no. He was not very friendly.

This hotel is super convenient and easy to get to from I95 highway. Very nice and clean and a very large room. Two very comfortable easy chairs to sit in. We brought our golden retriever and they accommodated us easily on the main floor. The included breakfast had everything and set us up for the day. The best breakfast we’ve had during hotel stays. We ordered take out from Dysarts across the road, a quick 5 minute walk. Will definitely stay here again on our annual drive to and from Florida from Canada! Highly recommend!

Beautiful hot tub area off the lobby…pleasant staff…didn’t get the room I originally booked, after calling and making sure the room I had booked was pet friendly…got told it was on the phone, but when I got there and had gone to the room they gave me, it wasn’t the room I booked….went to the desk and was told the suites weren’t pet friendly…but they were good about making sure to change the price of the original room I booked to the one I was actually in.

Room was clearly at one point assigned to smokers despite the No Smoking sign on the door. Gave us both a headache. Had the stench of a room that had been smoked in for years.

Older hotel but great staff - very friendly. Although older, very clean. Not much around it but great food at Dysart’s Truck Ctr a 2 min walk away. Breakfast is very well done with great selection of items from eggs to pancakes, waffles, sweets…you name it. Great budget stay.

great stay!
We have another go-to hotel, but it was booked so we landed here. Glad we did! Neat theme for a hotel in Maine. Very clean everywhere. The bathroom (in a "standard room") is itty bitty, but functionable. Bed was nice, temp was good, smelled like cleaning products a bit too strongly for awhile, but better that than anything else. We checked in after 9pm and the desk wasn't attended for a few minutes so we had to wait a little bit to check in, which was just slightly annoying. Turns out there is a hot tub open for adults until 10 pm! The pool was closed (its november) but looks like it'd be nice in the summer. I'd def stay here again. Oh, also, GREAT breakfast!!!

Hotel is old, room had a strange smelll. If you got close to the edge you could fall out of bed as the foudation only supported some of the mattress. Some of the towels were stained. Front desk staff was nice. We inly stayed a few hours as we had an early flight

Even though it was right off the highway we did get lost and had a terrible time finding the place. We almost missed the signage at the road going into the place. It was right next to a trucker stop where we ended up eating our dinner. It was the closest option and we could walk to it. For anything else the location was definitely not walkable.

There is now a free hot continental breakfast that is standard but good. Although there is no restaurant onsite, there is a pizza option in the evening complete with beer or a mixed drink which is delivered to your room. Very nice and you don't need to go out in the rain. If you prefer, there is an excellent restaurant within very walkable distance. The staff is excellent and friendly. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in at any lodging in our 50 years of travel. It's very convenient to Bangor and Orono and we would definitely stay here again. It's perfectly located for football and hockey games in the area!

The best thing we enjoyed was the breakfast! Loved the waffle station and the hot and cold options available. I would have swapped the instant coffee machines. We didnt realize the one in the lobby had other options for hot chocolate and cappuccino and I definitely would have opted for those versus the coffee; however, the coffee was good. Beds were comfortable and room spacious. Appreciated location of room on 1st floor and close to our parking spot. Neat decor features at the White House. We only stayed for 1 night, otherwise I'd have checked out the hot tub onsite. It was nice being walking distance from a diner to enjoy a late dinner after arriving. Definitely would stay again!

This is a clean, comfortable quiet hotel. The only thing I didn't like is that they closed the bar during covid & won't be reopening it.

This hotel is pet friendly, but the mess from the pets who were previously in our room was not cleaned up. There was cat puke on the floor, the carpet was not clean, and there were crumbs of cat food on the sink counter behind the Kleenex box. The breakfast was ok, and the front desk attendant offered me a $30 gift card to compensate for the barf on the floor, but I will not be returning. The least they could do is run a vacuum over the floor (if they had then they would have noticed the cat barf) and thoroughly clean the countertop.

I am very sorry your room was thoroughly cleaned and the housekeeper overlooked the cat vomit in the corner of the room, along with the cat food crumbs. This is not typical of our housekeeping staff. I am sorry we cannot provide another chance to provide a great stay.

Not the usual hotel, has an old style elegance to it. Only downsides, we had very noisy people above us, constantly sounded like they would crash through at any minute. Near the highway, not great windows to seal out sound. Old window AC helped drown out road noise, but was very loud itself. The free breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in any motel.

We arrived early and they were able to check us in to a lovely upgraded to a beautiful suite with a fire place. The lady at the front desk was helpful by giving us suggestions on what to do on our short stay in Bangor. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a White House theme. Our room was very clean. The breakfast was everything you could have wanted. We would happily stay here again
