“What I'd expect from a Hilton”

Nice friendly staff at front desk, very clean room - probably the nicest place we stayed during our one week drive through New England.

I would highly recommend staying at the Hilton garden in bangor. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Thank you for a nice overnight stay.

“The only place to stay in Bangor!”

After being displaced in Bangor due to hurricane Irene- we actually checked out of the Sheraton! The Hilton Garden Inn had guest laundry services, a hot tub, courtesy shuttle~~ all of those were not available at the Sheraton! Amazing friendly staff and a clean- accommodating hotel.

“I will definitely stay here again.”

Very clean, well maintained and professional. Complains: Quantity Coffee,Sugar and Cream in the room was not enough. Lobby was too cold.

“Excellent Experience!”

The staff at the hotel was professional and proficient. Our first room did not have a working air conditioner and they moved us to a different room immediately. Our housekeeping service was some of the best service I have ever received, particularly given we stayed for a full 7days. Heidi was more than accommodating of our schedule; if she arrived before we needed to leave, I would just ask that she return at a different time and she was always smiling and pleasant with my requests. I would highly reccommend this hotel for any travelers. The only down side was the slow internet speed ... the in-room internet connection was not that great; however, they do provide a business lounge where computers are accessable.

“Very Clean and Friendly. Comfy beds!”

The hotel exceeded our expectations with cleanliness. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The pool/hottub room was very chlorinated and it was harsh on the eyes but you could be sure no bacteria was present! There were cookies on the front desk throughout the day and also complimentary wine/cheese tasting on Tuesday night, then a complimentary bbq on Wednesday night. We didn't actually get a chance to take advantage of the bbq. The breakfast in the morning was not included. The buffet was $10 but included omlets made to order, waffles, bagels, eggs fixed how you wanted, meats, various breads, etc. A really fair price for what you were offered.

Was very pleased that the shuttle arrived in good time after being called from the airport. Nice hotel!

“Nice hotel, awesome breakfast”

The hotel was great except for the fact that the maid service started coming around at 830, a little early in my opinion and their event staff isn't exactly a well oiled machine, but! their breakfast is pretty awesome! Most of the time a hotel has a crappy breakfast bar, not this one! A cook to order egg station, many options for breads, etc. Make sure you book online and not thru them directly, breakfast is always free when booked online.

Great hotel - mattress adjustable regarding softness/hardness Breakfast started at 6:30 AM on Sunday - great for me since I travel for business
