As I'm not local, I've to depend on GPS to reach this hotel through rarely-use, unfamiliar road, despite this hotel is easily seen from Jalan Syed Putra. The road in front of this hotel is very narrow, was wondering the road is a 1 or 2 way directional lane when I arrived. The hotel is lack of private parking, feel a bit uncomfortable parking by the roadside as there were many people (there's a bus stop and pedestrian bridge nearby) watching us while waiting for public transport. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store beside the hotel to make stay much more convenient. The hotel entrance door is always locked & the hotel staff is always there to unlock the door if you need to come in or leave, so a compliment to its security. Staff is friendly, one staff helped carried my luggage to the room & gave some explanation about facilities usage in the room. I was staying in Libra room, it was quite dark (I can even count total light bulbs installed) but comfy. The rooms named after constellations makes me believe that the design theme must be based on universe space concept blended with realistic modern environment living (hanging decorative balls look like moons, black staircase like walking in outer space, eclipse-like lighting around round bath mirror etc.). Room is very clean & smells good. The bath is divided by a big sliding glass door with curtain available to hide it. Even the power sockets & telephone installed are unique in design. Price a bit premium.

Our family of 5 stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment at Sri Tiara from 27 September to 7 October. It was perfect for us. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and we really appreciated having a kitchen so we could prepare some of our own meals. (Megamall is very close for shopping.) One suggestion: more equipment in the kitchen. There were only the absolute basics - one set of crockery, cutlery for 4 (when the apartment slept 6), no wine glasses, no mixing or serving bowls, few serving implements. But apart from that everything was great. We had a problem with the hot water one day, reported it to building management, and it was fixed by the time we got back in the afternoon. Loved the pool!

Pros- good value, AC and wifi worked well, quiet, very friendly and helpful front desk staff, close to Main Street in little India, ten to twelve minute walk from KL sentral station
Cons- my particular room was small (fine for one person but wouldn't recommend for two even though bed was big and comfortable), shower head is almost above toilet with no barrier between, frosted glass door for bathroom can limit privacy if sharing a room, not much of a view but like fine for sleeping because it was very quiet which I would always prefer over a nice view if given the choice, floor of the elevator is old linoleum which doesn't match everything else that is basically new (I'm sure this will be addressed soon though and it's not a big deal)
I would stay here again especially because it's a good value and the hotel is only two months old.
