The rooms were immaculate, cleaned totally during our stay, and offered every convenience of any of the finest of hotels. A very well done included breakfast on top[ of all. A wonderful gem in the middle of Bar Harbor.

Wonderful stay
I thought that the hotel was very comfortable and in a great location, my friends and I could walk all around town as the hotel was right there. The prices were also not bad at all.

First trip to Bar Harbor. This hotel is in a great location to the shops/restaurants/water and Acadia. Nice breakfast to start your day. Staff so friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Great downtown hotel
Our stay was great. Staff was attentive and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was better than other hotels continental breakfast. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hotel!
Wow! Although not a waterfront property, the Grand Bar Harbor Hotel does not disappoint! We had an amazing stay in a very comfortable room, the staff was above-and-beyond pleasant to deal with, and the proximity to the main street stores and restaurants made shopping and eating easy! We were travelling as a family of four. One of the best hotels - highly recommend it!

Great hotel. Huge bathroom and room with big comfy beds, sitting chairs, and all the space you’d need. Older hotel in the center of town but still kept up with!

Just spent a weekend in Bar Harbor and stayed at the Grand HotelThe location was ideal and allowed for easy walking to the shops and restaurants in town. The room was quite spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Highly Recommend
This is a very nice hotel. Comfortable room, 2 arm chairs for reading, nice bed. Excellent free breakfast and free parking in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor.

We keep coming back.
We have stayed here many times. Althiugh we have tried to stay at other hotels in Bar Harbor, we always come back here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. Clean, clean, clean!!

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and they provided alot of good information about the area. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast was good with both hot food and vegan choices. They provided apple cider all day everyday along with cookies at night. Great place to stay right down town i. Walking distance of shopping food and entertainment. Absolutely perfect.

Classy, beautiful hotel right in downtown Bar harbor convenient to shops, restaurants etc with included breakfast (many choices) and parking. Spacious rooms with character. Hot tub and small outdoor heated pool were relaxing to return to after a long day of hiking in Acadia. Staff went above and beyond - very friendly and accommodating. We had a problem with a broken bed frame and it was not only replaced immediately, the management also sent us a complimentary gift bag which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

This hotel was clean and quiet. The parking was a big plus given the craziness of Bar Harbor. Basically parked the car the day we arrived and didn’t have to get back in it until our stay in Bar Harbor was over. Very easy to walk around town from this location. Breakfast had good options for everyone. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

My section of hotel didn’t have elevator and the door from outside was always open….. anyone from street could enter the hotel. Yikes. Aside from that the bed wasn’t as comfortable for me, but it was clean for the most part. I think the cleaning lady need to have her hair up because she left A LOT of hair everywhere. I don’t have dark brown hair.
