My room as very nice and comfortable. The view was spectacular! Especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely accomodations and great off season rates. They even upgraded our room when we checked in complete with a balcony overlooking the ocean.

I stayed in the off season. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to ocean side. Take a hike along the ocean. Sit on your deck and listen to the waves.

“Location to die for...”

A lovely hotel located in what has to be the finest position in Bar Harbor - overlooking the harbour, but down a driveway from the main street. So tranquil, but only a couple of minutes walk from all the conveniences of the town. Lovely room, very friendly staff, and a very nice restaurant (had dinner there on a previous visit). Many rooms (the more expensive ones, naturally) facing the ocean. Buffet breakfast nice enough, but not huge variety. The hotel has an outdoor pool and spa, but we never made use of them because there is so much else to see.

“Lovely Inn in the Heart of Bar Harbor”

This is a lovely hotel/inn in a wonderful location. The room was comfortable with a nice little balcony overlooking the harbor. Lobby with fireplace, newspapers was very welcoming. Dining room very nice with delicious food (mostly seafood though). The only drawback to this hotel was the lack of free wifi. When I inquired about wifi I was given some complicated written instructions and there is a charge. It's hard to believe that a hotel this nice wouldn't have free wifi. I ended up not using my computer at all - mostly because the instructions were too complicated and because it irked me to have a charge for what most good hotels provide for free.

“Beautiful View from the Patio.”

Breathtaking and relaxing views from the patio. Get the ocean side room. I loved the view. The food was okay in the restr. Nice view in their as well. The continental breakfast was tasty and had a very nice selection. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice. The bathroom needs to be updated, but it was a nice size. I would certainly stay there again.

“Stay at Bar Harbor Inn”

I found the grounds, view and the rooms very nice. The only thing that I found was a problem at least for me was that the beds were not as comfortable as they could be. Adding pillow tops to the mattresses would make such a huge difference. This was the only thing that was not perfect.
