“Bar Harbor Manor”

This was a nice, simple hotel. Certainly not a manor. Rooms were quiet, very clean, and close enough to downtown to walk. It's a wonderful area. My only dislike: The "deck" was really just a semi-enclosed porch which, because of the heat coming from the room's air conditioner, was not very useful. This only provides more motivation to get back to the wonderful town or into Acadia.

“Wonderful accommodations in Bar Harbor”

Quiet side street location with plenty of parking and within easy walking distance into Bar Harbor. Lovely private porch area with comfortable seating. Many other hotels to choose from at the time of our visit but the Manor exceeded our expectations.

“Wonderful hotel for all”

This hotel was wonderful, clean, comfortable...and a great rate for the spacious room, we enjoyed the porch as well! It is in a prime location within walking distance of all that Bar Harbor has to offer! We will be returning here for sure!

“Very convenient location”

Location is superb, within easy walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, parked our car and did not have to drive the entire time in Bar Harbor. Safe neighborhood and premises.

“What a Gem!”

Our wonderful experience started with the kind and helpful lady at the front desk who not only checked us in, but also took time to tell us about the area and recommend places to eat. Our room was a miniature suite including a kitchenette, a full bath, a small sitting room, and bedroom. The bed linens were premium and they also supplied us with plenty of pillows. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spotless and the property was immaculately maintained. The location was close enough were we could walk everywhere but was far enough off the main streets so that noise wasn't a problem. We will be staying here again.

“Nice, reasonably priced hotel”

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect - within walking distance of everything, plenty of parking, it was clean with plenty of room and reasonably priced. LIz at the front desk was a sweetheart. She took the time to show us where the restaurants were as well as the hiking trails nearby. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but comfortable enough. I would definitely stay here again.

“Loved it!”

The pictures on Expedia and on the inn's website don't do the place justice! We had an excellent stay here for our 9 year anniversary. The in is about 6 blocks from downtown main street, it is very clean, well kept, and its just a cozy comfortable and romantic place to stay. I am definitely planning to book a room here again on our next trip to Bar Harbor!

“Delightful Manor”

Beautifully maintained, inside and out, on a quiet side street with little traffic. Each room has an adjoining outdoor space that was delightful in the morning sun. My only complaint is the small size of the bathroom vanity, lovely as it was.

“Very satisfied and will definitely return”

Very clean, well kept hotel. There were three couples and we each had a different type of room and were all extremely happy. The short walking distance to Main St. and shops were a definite priority and we were very pleased with the area. We are discussing when our next visit will be and when we will return to the Bar Harbor Manor!
