It is an older property but was clean, the location was extremely convenient, the staff was helpful, and the price was fair. I had no issues with my stay and would stay here again.

I was disappointed in the room, furnishings and facility; it probably hasn’t been updated in 50 years?? Just guessing. The positives are the basic cleanliness, the shower and the bed. We didn’t see staff; we were messaged with the necessary information to access the room.

The beds were very comfortable. House was nice but musty smelling. Nice neighborhood. Excellent cable and WiFi. Nice bathroom products and excellent hair dryer. Overall nice. Many stairs and well used.

Super Clean Rooms
I was a little afraid when we pulled up to the office. Don't let that scare you away! The room was Super Clean with apparent detail to everything. Pleasant stay and I didn't feel the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor.

Hotel never contacted by Expedia of one night cancellation two weeks prior. Wanted to charge me a cancellation fee. Finally agreed not to because I had documentation of cancellation but very stressful. Room was dark and no counter space in bathroom. Would not recommend or stay there again.

After you double-booked through a 3rd company, one of the reservations was updated while the other reservation did not get canceled. This was not an error because we did not make the reservation. We are sorry for the confusion, but we did all we could considering the situation.

Cramped Quarters
Very small room with queen bed, small table, one chair, and mini fridge for the two of us. The bathroom door needed to be closed to use the sink or shower. The room was well stocked with bottled water and coffee supplies on arrival, but not replenished unless requested.

Room was noisy: upstairs guests just walking; gutters situated right outside window. Limited lighting. Decorative sink required that the shelf/mirror be installed really high. At 5'1" tall I could see only my forehead. TV screen programmed so that everyone appeared short & fat.

The location is in a commercial area, busy highway, but very close by car to the shopping area and interesting Main St. Easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor without the high costs of that area. The room was very comfortable with thoughtful touches. The many live flower boxes decorating the outside balcony made the entire place look cheerful and inviting. I would definitely recommend it.
