“I would go back.”
Knights Inn was nice, clean good service. It is just a little far from Bar Harbor. But is in a good location for restrants, with great seafood.

Cheapest hotel to book during columbus day weekend, but is also 19 miles from the action. Don't expect anything outstanding. Booked a 2 double bed room. Mattress was very soft. It smelled musty in the room. Decor is very outdated. The breakfast, consisting of commercial blueberry or chocolate chip muffins, coffee, tea, apple juice or orange juice leaves much to be desired. I suggest promoting some local fresh homemade foods, such as pastries from local bakeries. Staff is friendly.

Curtains glowed where lining was missing/had holes, lining under bed hung to floor, overall sad environment.

This place is LONG over due for updating! Dirty, outdated mismatched furniture. The door didn't close all the way so the wind was blowing INSIDE the room! The peep hole in the door was an actual HOLE THROUGH THE DOOR! No Lens! A HOLE! My TV was older than I am! I'm not sure what it was that I cleaned of the headboard of the bed but it is now sanitized as is the TV remote! The smoke detector goes off when you take a shower! The update they wanted to do in the 80's STILL hasn't happened! The only thing updated was the little fridge and stove in the room which i think were brand new. To be fair, this place has TONS of potential!! However, it is in SERIOUS need of UPDATING and a SERIOUS CLEANING!!
