Excellent

Located at the right spot. Just at the very edge of the busy town. Which makes it perfect for walking into the town of Bar Harbor. Also close to entrance of Acadia National Park. Very friendly staff. View from balcony is amazing.

a classy hotel

Not like when traveling for business!!! This Inn provides comforts you expect, coffee and cookies in the lobby at all hours, large spacious room, fresh smelling and even a fireplace (if requested) and nightly entertainment. Decor is like having you step into serenity and a bit of vintage lighting. Would highly recommend.

Room with a superb view

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Every thing
Cons: Nothing
Location: Location can not be whale watching and sightseeing around Acadia national park
Room was spacious with view over Frenchman's bay on the mizen floor , easy walk in to town. Breakfast was available in the look out restaurant at reasonable cost, got fault any thing at all would defiantly stay here again.

Riesenhotel

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Die Aussicht

definitely not worth the money

Location: Had to drive everywhere.
This hotel was too far from town to walk. For less money you can stay at the Bar Harbor Inn (which also has a spa) and be right in the middle of town with a superb restaurant and view. However, we did find the staff very accommodating, liked the free parking, coffee, etc, and did have the best massage of our life!

We enjoyed our stay completely, from watching the sunrise from the balcony to gathering a group of friends to play cards in the sitting area. Our stay just wasn't long eough!

Excellent staff at this beautiful & quaint Inn. We brought our family and were well taken care of. We had everything we needed and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Our favorite was the piano lounge though. Bill Trowell was fantastic and his joy of playing was contagious! He even let our daughter play and so inspired her as a pianist! Definitely a place we will return to!
