“Bar Habor was great”

The location was great. the place was clean. Could have had a better bathroom. It was a good trade off for the location.

This was our first trip to Bar Harbor. We couldn't have picked a better location than the Villager Motel. I was a little skeptical because it is an older motel, but the room was spotless and had been updated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can walk to everything. We barely moved the car the entire trip. Do not miss "Cafe This Way", (great breakfast & dinner), "2 Cats", (wonderful breakfast), and Jacob Pond House (the "popovers" are a DO NOT MISS!) The park is beautiful, the view from Cadillac Mountain is unbelievable. We will definitely return to Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park, and will stay at the Villager Motel.

They were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accomodate us. If there was a problem, it was remedied quickly.

we would definately stay there again. again spotless, resonably priced and the location was everything. free continental breakfast was great as well. very quiet also no partiers. the hotel was cleaner than clean. they definately spend time making sure the place it cleaner than anyother hotel/motel that i have ever stayed in for way more money.

“Great for a weekend in Bar Harbor!”

The Bar Harbor Villager is great for a long relaxing weekend in Bar Harbor. It has a great location right in town but is set off the street so it is nice to return at night. It was perfectly clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful.

“Good for Short-term Visit”

The motel advertized for WiFi, continental breakfast, HBO, and room service... none of which were included in our stay. This is my only complaint. The location of the motel in Bar Harbor made it worth the stay. Would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Bar Harbor within walking distance of the main attractions... but a little overpriced.

“Excellent location”

Located right on the outskirts of downtown, this is a great way to see and be in Bar Harbor for a reasonable price. The room was simple but functional and the staff was very nice and courteous. We enjoyed our stay there and would probably go back there.
