“Know what you're getting into”

This hotel is beautiful, and if you have a car, or an unlimited budget for cab fare, I highly recommend it. If you are without a vehicle, be forewarned that the hotel is very far from the marina, busses are sporadic (there was a strike the day I was there, and when they WERE running, they were an hour and a half behind), and there are few restaurants or entertainment (short of a small bar) anywhere within walking distance. It is also hard to find on foot, the addresses seem to go from 7 to 42 to 33 with no method to the madness. Also, the proprietor told me that the last bus left the marina at midnight, but in actuality, it left at 11:05, so I had to walk up a giant hill in the dark after dinner. You will love the pool and amenities if you are armed with all the info, but if you are a budget backpacker like myself, this is probably not the place for you.
