“great value for money”

The Adulo apartments are extremely good value for money,i wouldnt describe them as luxurious or fantastic but if you are going to barbados and just want a basic apartment in a good location they are ideal .For the price you pay you get good value,they were clean and you always felt safe and nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff.just be realistic in your expectations and the Adulo apartments are fine.The only real negative was a cockeral that seemed to make a lot of noise although a few banks beers seemed to help eradicate the noise.

“Cheap and Comfortable”

I picked the hotel because it was cheap and located in Rockley. The location was fantastic, 5 mins walk from the main road with resturants and beach access. For anyone who doesn't hire a car everything is in walking distance. For those who do hire a car there is enough parking space included in the hotel costs. The people are very friendly, especially as I was there on my own. The appartment was spacious and clean and although there was no air condictioning, there were enough windows to get a nice sea breeze though the whole appartment. The balcany was get or my early morning Tea and Cigarette. I was there to visit riends and family and as a base, this hotel was brilliant. On my next visit I will definatly stay here again.

“overall pleasant facility, but very noisy”

The staff was lovely, the factilites basic, but clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were several roosters nearby who crowed all night long. That, along with the light pollution made it just about impossible to sleep. Fortunately, we were only there for one night, otherwise we would have had to change hotels.

“Good value for your money in this area”

This hotel/apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable vacation, beds were quite comfortable, towels were lovely, but the floors of the general living area, needed cleaning. The ceiling fans were adequate and the floor fan.

Adulo Apartments was chosen for our trip because it was inexpensive, and yet had all the amenities we needed. I liked the aparthotel’s location: 5 minutes away from as many restaurants as you can count. And I loved, loved, LOVED, that we were literally five minutes from the beach. Also, if you choose not to rent a car, public transportation was easy access, so getting around is no problem. Now, here is what I did not like. I should have been nervous when our taxi driver stated that he’d never heard of the place, which probably meant that it’s not too popular with tourists. We chose a studio apartment since there was only two people on the trip. Air conditioning is not included in the studio apartments, and if you ask me, that is one big rip-off. It was completely annoying that it was always hotter in the apartment than it was outside. The apartment had a ceiling fan, but that was of no help since it spun so slow, we could not feel any type of relief. Then there was the leaky bathroom faucet, and the toilet that flushed whenever it felt like it. Even after a plumber was called to the room, there was no solution. Then there were the construction workers who decided to work long hours, for several days, on the room right next to ours; I did not pay money to be woken out of my sleep by loud, obnoxious banging. Although the staff was nice and helpful, for my next trip, I think I will be paying more money to stay at the nearby Accra Beach Hotel.
