“Wonderful Place to Visit”

The hotel staff and managment went out of thier way to make our stay as care free as possible. The island in itself is a wonderful and beautiful place. The local citizens were absoultly the most pleasent people I've ever incountered. I look forward to many trips back, it would take several weeks to se and do all that is avalible

“Nice lively retreat for adults”

Good value for your dollar. The food was for the most part average, except for Enid's restaurant, which was good, and the drinks were great. Nice private beach, fun atmosphere, friendly staff.

“honeymoon travel”

I was in honeymoon, they gave me the room upgrade as expected..but the room I got has the toilet broken and dirty, so they gave me an oceanview room...great!The rooms are not so clean, but the place was fantastic, the resort is on the beach. The food was very very good, 5 restaurant to choose between the Club and the Village (there's a shuttle to connect them),try the barbadian(enid's) one, special.

“Barbados-that was fun!”

All-inclusive is the way to go. Views and sunsets were causing heart to cry. Food was good: not bad, not super. No crackers, nuts or pretzels. Since it is a former British colony they drive on the left side of the road and 80% of guests are from UK. You can pay for everything and everywhere in US$. Local people are very nice, of course they tried to sell different stuff at the beach but they were not pushy that much-all beaches are public so everybody has access to them.Almond club is for adults only but they have for families another one about few miles away so actually going to one gives you access to two, good deal. The problem they have at this resort is birds flying and eating at the beach restaurant during breakfast and lunch. Our room was not clean when we arrived at 11.30pm so we relocated to different one. People are nice but as always in warm places people do not care about time. There is no disco, but they compensated that with live music every night. Gym consists of 4 cardio and 10 workout machines. Couples massage is a must! Beach is rocky but you can go to the sister resort or nearby beach and enjoy yourself with the full blow sand. Altogether it is a quiet place for honeymooners and wedding anniversaries, etc.We took pirate, submarine and 4x4 trips, of course they cost extra but they were worth seeing the island if you like sightseeing.

“Ideal if it's quiet relaxation you want.”

The Almond Beach Club and Spa has everything you need for a quiet stay without leaving the complex; however, the free shuttle bus to the Almond Village gives you a wider range of dining and pool/beach options. The staff are all extremely friendly and unbelievably laid back (the Bajan way), don't expect to hurry.

“Gorgeous Property”

Where as the rooms seemed basic and a little older, the property is beautiful. They maintain the grounds, the pool, the beach impecibly. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. Scuba Diving there was excellent. Down the street from the hotel is West Side diving and they were incredible.

“Fantastic!”

We've been to ABC twice now and would definitely return again. Disregard all the ignorant comments made by other travelles - all the details are there on the expedia website about long trousers and balconies etc. The hotel is brilliant, we are both under 30, like many other guests and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Shops across the road allow you to pick up duty free bargains as well. There is a beautiful white sandy beach with a coral reef too. There are lots of water sports to do and lunch and dinner are both 4 courses. Enjoy!
