5 Star if you live for the "organic" experiencePosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Design and Decor
love the town home, modern decor and appliances. Upon arrival we were speechless, it looked better than envisioned. The bedroom was lovely with a huge master bath, air conditioning cooled upstairs, however there was none downstairs, no complaints from me, I loved Battaleys Mews. We shopped and cooked all of our meals, but did enjoy local snacks courtesy of Cheffette and The Roti Den. Mullins Beach was a 5 minute walk but we drove and parked across the street (the mini car came in handy). I would definitely return again. The town home had two additional rooms that were locked but I can see a family or a group enjoying the accomodations.

Batteleys Mews VacationPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Large, spacious rooms, all the necessary amenities plus a secure location.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: There's a beach nearby as well as a couple of restaurants. It helps to have a rental car to get around even if things are close-by.
Staying at the resort was a pleasant experience. Coming "home" everyday was something we looked forward to no matter how great the day had been.

Battaleys Mews with ViewsPosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Great for self-catering. Definitely will come again and low-season turned out better overall than high-season
Cons: Mozzy guards on windows
Location: Mullins and Gibbes beaches are close and both very good.
Very well managed - cleaned & checked & new towels/linen as needed. Excellent stay.

Great stay. Friendly staff. Totally agree with other positive reviews. My only criticism is that the fridge wasn't cold enough.

Truly amazing place to stay. Would advise hiring a car to see the island.

Second honeymoonPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: The location, size of property, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: Few bits of flaking paint in bathroom, water tends to splash out of shower due to sill being sloped towards the door opening!
Location: Mullins beach. Beautiful quiet beach with plenty of water-sports / trips etc on offer. Beware the coconut seller! Mullins beach bar is very reasonable
We were greeted at reception with a great rum punch, and shown to our villa quickly but without being rushed. The villa was spacious and immaculately clean, although after a few days we started to notice one or two very minor niggles that could be addressed but didn't impact on our enjoyment of the holiday. The villa was far better than we expected for the price we paid, and we can't wait to return and bring our children this time. It was perfect for a second honeymoon, but would also be fantastic place to stay with children. Sorry to the night security for scaring him with our late-night dip in the plunge pool!! (which was a brilliant addition to this lovely property).

Home away from home.Posted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Great staff, great service, amazing villa, great for couples.
Cons: Everything was spot on!
Location: Located in a quiet part of the island, a short walk or 1 min drive away from Mullins beach. The gas station on the main road has a mini-mart.
Amazing spacious and super clean villa with fully equipped kitchen, backyard with jacuzzi, wifi and everything you need to feel the comfort of your own home.

Barbados amazing!! Accommodation doesn't deliverPosted Aug 14, 2013
Location: Mullins beach 5 mins walk beautiful
Villa was lovely, not a resort as described. Bar never open, when is open shuts at 8pm. Had children with us, intention was to be able to go and have a couple of drinks in the evening, quality time just for us. Not possible. Apparently the owner who lives on the complex with a new baby, doesn't want the noise.!!!!!! Other quests so no overly impressed!! Pool is tiny, snack menu, no restaurant. Out of 14 days no room service for 6 They don't work b/h or weekends, failed to turn up on a Friday!!! Tumble dryer of washer dryer didn't work!!!! Got given a silly little airier!!! Chose acclimation because of what it promised But Barbados is brilliant!!!! Loved the country!
