“Nice hotel”

Hotel isn't on the beach, but it is right across the street from it. Nice hotel and would stay again!

“wonderful vacation, would return tomorrow!”

This property exceeded our expectations. We would love to return. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our 3 bedroom condo was so spacious and comfortable, beautifully furnished and equipped, with outstanding sunset views. You do have to cross the street to get to the beach but we didn't find this a problem, there are lovely beaches where you could rent chairs and umbrellas within a 5-10 minute walk on the beach. It is very easy and safe to jump on any of the many buses and take a 5 minute ride to Holetown for groceries, dinner etc. All in all a great place-

“Really excellent self catering hotel - massively impressed.”

I can't praise the people & facilities at Beach View enough - the hotel is really nice, we had a one bedroom apartment which was huge. Nicely furnished and fully kitted out with everything you could possibly need - fully fitted kitchen, dishwasher, washer dryer etc etc. Swimming pool is excellent, loads of sun beds etc. Room servicing is superb, they even did our washing up for us each day! The hotel management are really helpful, they can sort out anything from car hire to arranging for groceries on your arrival. The café is a real bonus serving breakfast and lunch. Public transport is available right outside the front door although a car is extremely useful is you really want to see the island.

“Great Stay at Beachview”

A great stay at the Beachview Hotel. It is located in St. James, Barbados.We arranged an airport transfer with the hotel prior to our arrival. We were greeted as soon as we arrived to Beachview. The ladies at reception are very helpful and friendly. The manager was very kind to give us a tour of our suite. It was a great large living space with all the required amenities. It was on the first floor overlooking the beach. A great area as the beach is literally right across the street. (5 min walk). The beach can stretch down 1-2 km. The beaches are named differently as you contiue to walk down the beach. Within a 10 min walk on the beach called Paynes Beach, there is a place you can rent lounge chairs + Umbrellas. Also if you're a strong swimmer you can swim up to the sea turtles in the area. Beachview is walking distance to a few restaurants, a 24 hour gas station/convenience store. Also a great Roti place within 5 mins from the hotel. Staff was very helpful with excursions, special arrangements and recommendations. The pool was large and refreshing. It is one big swimming pool split into a kids and adults swimming pool. I would definately come back to Beach View.

“Excellent Hotel and Location in Barbados”

Deserved high ratings from TripAdvisor and Expedia. Excellent location - several beautiful beaches, walk to a number of excellent restaurants, outstanding team running the hotel - very organized, responsive, well connected to Barbados activities - car rental, scuba, snorkel trips, etc. Hotel itself is very well maintained and apartments are well appointed. Would definitely go back to the Beach View.

“A room with a view”

Upon our arrival, we got greeted by the manager at the reception explaining us the surrounding and showing us our room. The room was fantastic with some commodities (kitchen, washer and dryer, etc) we didn't expect. The view of the room was spectacular with the sun setting right in front of our balcony. Although the condos are not situated on the beach, all you have to do is cross the street to get to the beach. The hotel is just a short walk to Daphne's restaurant or the Cliff restaurant. There's a bus stop right in front that gets you to Holetown in about 10 minutes where there's is plenty of restaurants and boutiques. You can take the bus the other way around to reach Bridgetown in about 30 minutes. Since the island is not that big, the condos are well situated.

“Excellent Family Friendly Hotel”

This hotel complex is a family run operation with an informal friendly style where nothing is too much trouble (booking excursions, restaurant reservations etc), the spacious well appointed apartments are maintained to a high standard and the daily maid service is excellent. The pool area is well maintained with a friendly communal atmosphere and the cafe serves a good selection of snacks and drinks and I can recommend the bacon & egg breakfast roll. We found the hotel location to be very good, it is across the road from the beach and after a short walk along the shore line it opens out onto a large well served beach, it is located within walking distance of a number of very good restaurants that includes The Cliff (Exclusive) and Scarlet which is fun, friendly and reasonably priced. For getting around we would recommend a car but Hole town with its shopping and restaurants is easily reached by taxi if you did not want to drive.

An amazing experience..a perfect vacation..The accomodation..The location..The staff..The service...the pool..the VIEW!!!!..All a perfect 10/10..Looking forward to the next time..Thoroughly enjoyed every minute and would like to thank everyone at Beachview for such a wonderful stay..

“Great choice”

I have only good things to say about this hotel. I had booked a two bedrooms suite and I was pleasantly surprised by its comfort and spaciousness. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The pool is beautiful and the beach across the street wonderful when you walk a little further. I definitely recommend this hotel and will surely use it again on my next stay in Barbados.
