“impressed”

I loved this hotel, it was nice, quiet and perfect for honeymooners. My husband and I had a great time, and would love to return. Also there are hot tubs in every room!

“PERFECT HONEYMOON SPOT!”

My husband and I married on 7/7/07 and stayed at Th Divi for our honeymoon. The resort is perfect for honeymooners. There is a jacazzi in every room and a beautiful ocean view. WE would go back for sure!The price is right and everything you can possibly need is in walking distance

“Really enjoyed it!”

The Divi needs to update its website a bit, as other reviewers have mentione, as some information was a bit stretched. It could use a bit of maintence but things were being done while we were there. We were in a third floor deluxe suite - excellent view, great balcony, HUGE space, very quiet. Bathrooms need an update, new cabinetry and fixtures but everything worked fine and was clean. Having laundry on site was a great addition. The snorkling was fantastic right off the hotel and it was a five minute walk to Sandy Lane Beach, for more swimming rather then snorkling. It was a ten minte walk to restaurants and groceries and there was a mall for shopping across the road. We rented a car for a couple of days of touring around but most of the time just walked where we needed to go. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The self catering made it a very affordable option as opposed to all inclusive. I reccomend this hotel if you want quiet, good value, self catering, great snorkling, excellent location. It is not five star, more like renting a flat then staying in a hotel.

“A nice place to stay”

We had a very pleasant 5 days at the Divi Heritage, the location is excellent with the ocean just 30ft from the room. The rooms are well maintained, the hotel staff are helpful and pleasant. For a 2 1/2 star hotel it's excellent.

Right on the ocean and within walking distance to resturants and shops.

“Divi review”

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Everyone at the resort were always pleasent and gave advice where needed. The apartment was basic and in need of updating. However this problem did seem to be being addressed during our visit. The location was A1 and I would strongly recommend this site for anyone wishing to get away from the busy south coast.

“Needs additional staff to help hotel guests”

The room was very large- and the staff very helpful and very friendly The beach towels every day were not ready in the morning- sometimes not until the afternoon- One day I was travelling to another beach- and I had to use the same beach towel from the day before

“Not up to the standards of a Divi Resort”

We found the conditions run down and in need of repair. Some examples: kitchen was antiquated; safe was broken and it took Guard about an hour to get our valuables out and no new plate could be found so we could not use it again; air conditioning only in the bedroom area; came back from beach to find room cleaned but not a towell to be found and no one around to give us towells; Took about a half hour to hunt down housekeeper to give us towells; had to ask for items that should have been in our room before we got there. In short, we feel as if this resort is being run on a shoestring and close to closing.

“disappointing”

The place is very tired and needs to be re-done. The mattress was awful and sagged badly in the middle.

“Not for me”

Too far from everything, if it had not been for a car we would have been stuck with nothing to do. The place is very old in dire need of renovations. There was no pool. I wouldnot recommend this hotel.
