Hotel proche de la plage, des restaurants...

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Le quartier est toujours animé. On peur aller a la plage à pied. Endroit très touristique, accueillant et dynamique. Bref Le GAP est là ou tout se passe

Nice hotel

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Cons: They need wireless internet in the rooms.
I stayed there for 10 nights and it was a nice clean safe hotel with friendly staff. The only problem is that there's no internet in the rooms.

Nice, clean, quiet hotel.

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Everything, Very clean and friendly hotel. The beach is a little rough.
Cons: The Breakfast menu and food can and should improve. I ordered my breakfast and they gave me something totally different. Be honest with the customers.
Location: St lawrence Gap is very busy. But, the hotel is located away from the noise and party. There's alot to do in the surrounding areas, clubs n foods
I stayed 7 days. The Hotel is clean, quiet and the staff is amazing. I would stay again and recommend to my family and friends. I loved the location, which is away from the noise in St.Lawrence Gap. There's alot of restaurants, clubs, food and shopping in the surrounding areas.Don't have to go far at all.

Hübsches Hotel in Strandnähe,

Posted Nov 20, 2014

DOVER BEACH HOTEL. BARBADOS.

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: close to oistins and the beach.
Cons: Hotel need to have larger cups for your tea and microwaveable cups and plates. New beds needed a bit lumpy. Very thin walls.
Location: restaurants, small supermarkets and the beach.Easy to get to.
Nice hotel only stayed 3 nights. Friendly receptionist very helpful. Did not use facilities as was visiting Family. Bathroom was not cleaned up to my standard as I found other people's hair on the walls in the bathroom. Behind the toilet seat also needed to be cleaned. Would be nice if a box of tissues would in the room and also an Alarm clock Radio. TV in our room was on it's way out Bad picture people had green faces. Could do with updating the TV's to Flat screens. One of the Towels had a hole in it. The staff were very nice and helpful especially Rosita on Front desk. Unfortunately on the day we checked out they Power Company decided to cut the Electricity off for the day with out giving us warning.

very clean

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Great area, we felt very safe walking around at night going for dinner.
Cons: The restuarant could have more food on hand.
Location: The location was perfect, there is a convience store nearby for our food and alcohol. Lots of great restuarants down the streeet.
The hotel is very clean and that is important to me. The staff very friendly. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the restuarant had hardly any food. My husband and I got to see baby turtles hatch and swim to the ocean, a site I will never forget.

Not worth it

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Location.
Cons: You can tell the hotel was built some time ago. Things just need a bit of sprucing up. AC remote didn't function properly. Need new towels and rags.
Location: Excellent location in St. Lawrence Gap which is great for nightlife and amazing restaurants. Beaches also nearby, though not the best in Barbados.
Stayed 3 nights in October 2014. Found discount on Expedia which made it $80/night + tax. Took the discount in a rush. It was overall OK. The room itself was spacious enough. The bathroom was OK but the towels and rags had old stains and spots on them - they need to be replaced with new ones. Had amenities such as TV with a few channels, patio, iron, kitchenette with microwave, fridge/freezer, sink. Microwave worked inconsistently, sometimes it would turn on and sometimes not. Air conditioning also worked inconsistently. The kingsize bed was actually just two twin beds pushed together. Location in St. Lawrence Gap was great as there are many nice restaurants closeby and the area is known for the nightlife. Breakfast was too expensive for what was offered. There are other restaurants within a stone's throw of the hotel serving tastier and larger meals at a lower price. The restaurant downstairs needs fans/Air con as the place is just too hot and uncomfortable without. I don't think my stay there was worth the money even with discount. I came to know that there are dozens of hotels and guest houses in the area - several of which are nicer than Dover but similarly priced - that I could have scoped out if I had the time to do so.
