Ticked all the boxes for a relaxing winter breakPosted Dec 30, 2014
Pros: Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Perhaps more fresh fruit at breakfast / afternoon tea time.
Location: Perfect location nice and easy
Excellent all round experience for our holiday. Spacious clean rooms, friendly helpful staff. Location perfect for a short break (1 week) no reason to go anywhere except the beach. Plenty to do for teenage kids water sports etc. nightclubs round the corner. Cocktails were great and plenty of them too. Food was very acceptable, though we preferred buffet style meals as it was quicker in and out back on to the beach ! There was plenty of fish on the menu and salads. Bar service on the beach was a real treat with cooling flannels to take the heat out of the day. The hotel was relaxed and easy going, despite the evening dress code which we didn't mind at all.

Nettes Hotel mit super ServicePosted Dec 22, 2014
Pros: Der aufmerksame Service

relaxedPosted Nov 23, 2014
My boyfriend and I were there from Nov. 13-17. We have nothing but good things to say about the resort. The staff was great, especially the bartenders. Ron, Andre and Jason kept the drinks coming anytime our glass got empty. The food was what we would expect from an all inclusive resorts. I didn't understand why we had to make reservations for lunch and why nothing else was available for guests if they forgot to reserve. There's always plenty of beach chairs and inclusive water sports provided by the resort. Take advantage of it! We would definitely go back. Thanks Mangobay for making our first trip to Barbados memorable. -- remember to tip your waiters/bartenders

Perfect locationPosted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: The staff and location
Cons: Fridge in room
My first visit to Barbados and it certainly will not be my last. The hotel was small and very friendly with excellent food, plenty of choice and always good quality. Perfect location for both the beach and the town. Our room was a little noisy on Sunday nights when the local bar has a street karaoke night, but if you take the oppotunity to join them rather than fight them, it's actually great fun.

Perfect All Inlusive with a local touchPosted Oct 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived at the hotel around 10pm on a Saturday night. The reception had already prepared some snacks for us in case we were hungry as the restaurant was already closed. We were too picky about the snacks and asked if there were any restaurant close by. They opened their restaurant just to serve us!!! That tells the commitment and the level of service! The staff were extremely friendly! Special thanks to Tanya (played with my daughter everyday), Pedro, Rondelle and Sandy! The location is awesome. There was a very nice mall 5min walking from the hotel. Also some nice restaurants at the same distance. Do not expect a fancy hotel with fancy rooms. It's rooms were very clean and very comfortable beds but with simple and local decoration. Nothing fancy. This was exactly what I wanted. The water sports were all inclusive (except the jet ski). Snorkel, kayak, sailing boat, Stand Up Paddle and some other activities like a glass bottom boat and Catamaran sail boat trip. This was an awesome trip!

Small boutique type hotel, on the beach.Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Probably the nicest hotel staff I have ever come across.
Cons: The bar area, having another bar down by the beach and more seating. Letting patrons know about the problem with sand flys/Mosquitos
Location: Location great, lots of shops, supermarket, malls. Nice walkable beach both directions.
We stayed at the Mango the first 10 days of October we were there with a group of 14 to attend our daughters wedding which was being held at another venue. The Mango staff are very attentive, anything you needed was sent to your room immediately. We did have some plumbing problems in our room when we first arrived, but was fixed the next day. The food was very good, the only negative a found with the restaurant apart from there only being one was they did not have decafinated drip coffee only instant. And no espresso, which I find very unusual knowing how popular decaf and espresso are. Also we found it unusual that they did not have snacks available inbetween meals, apart from afternoon tea served from 4:00 to 5:30 compared to other all inclusives it was not on the same level. There is only one bar and the area is very small, most nights only had one bar man working, which quite often meant you waited quite some time to get served. The free water sports are amazing, free glass bottom boat, free catamaran with snorkling and kayaks, stand up paddle board and a hobi cat sail boat. We enjoyed all and noted when in Hawaii we paid a fortune for all of those activities.

Will definitely go againPosted Sep 16, 2014
The most friendly, accommodating & relaxing resort! Great location. There was a bit of beach renovation going on but it did not bother us at all. The food was great. The beach vendors (very few) were not bothersome, were pleasant to chat with & extremely friendly as well.
