Happening Place

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Exterior could be freshen up.
Location: Right next to Dover Beach I believe. Bars/clubs nightlife right across the street
Hotel is in the area of local bars/clubs. Music into the late night early mornings. Rooms face the ocean. Would stay here again

Comfy on a jumping St. Lawrence Gap

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: Location on the gap and its close prox. to shops and restaurants.
Cons: Euro electrical outlet should not be the only option in the bathroom for an electric razor; and, ensure that all outlets in the rooms are working.
Second time staying there - second time much better because I stayed in one of the newer rooms.

Great central location on 'The Gap'

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: great location and spotlessly clean!
Cons: Workmen with noisy machinery cutting grass/trimming hedges etc whilst trying to relax/sunbathe!
Location: Central location with lots of bars, restaurants etc on your doorstep!
Great hotel in central location for all bars, clubs and restaurants! We stayed in newest block in a deluxe sea front studio which has air conditioning (needed!) rooms are large, modern and bright with nice bathroom and kitchenette which has all you need to make snacks, light meals etc we often made breakfast or lunch and sat enjoying the stunning view of the carribean sea. There is a nice pool area and also small private beach, plenty of sunbeds/parasols available

My 10 days stay at Rostrevor.

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness and upkeep of the property. The location is ideal for tourists who had travelled far to visit sunny Barbados. Everything is accessible
Cons: Yes many things can be improved, in the kitchen dishwashing liquid and in the bathroom toiletries like shampoos and conditioner could have been given.
Location: Great location with easy access to bars, restaurants, night clubs, beaches, convenience stores and buses. Enjoy the Gap, the place to be in Barbados.
Rostrevor is a beautiful hotel to relax and enjoy Barbados at an affordable price. It is situated at the perfect location, right at the Gap, where one can enjoy great dining and night life without going too far. The hotel is clean and well kept and the staff is friendly and ready to help whenever a situation occurs. The room is comfortable and we had easy access to the beach. This is the place to be, I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends any time they wish to visit beautiful and sunny Barbados. Overall my stay at Rostrevor was fantastic and amazing. Cannot wait to visit this place again.

Kitchen needs help

Posted May 20, 2015
Pros: view and cleanliness.
Cons: supply kitchen with basic goods.
We thought the hotel was generally great. The facilities were fine, the view was great, and everything was clean. My one objections is the kitchen. There was no soap or cleaning goods in the kitchen. There were no coffee or coffee filters in the kitchen. In order to utilize the kitchen we had to buy goods for only a three night stay and leave the excess for the next party, which was expensive. They do sell coffee in main lobby at $1 per cup which you can purchase and take back to your room (not a good thing).

Incredible beachfront location

Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Location, oceanview, private beach, immaculate condition on the hotel
Cons: Restaurant somehow did not appeal to me. I must be the location in the semi-basement. I had hard time to handle the in-room safe.
Location: Near to many restaurants, bars and public transportation, even (Anglican) church.
The hotel is in the St-Lawrence Gap with many restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc. All rooms have oceanview and are self-catering which may save you a bundle.
