Nice hotel on the beach.Posted Dec 13, 2013
Pros: The staff, environment and tranquility.
Cons: Some night entertainment.
Location: Close to the airport 10-15 minutes away.
Staff very accommodating, friendly and aim to please. Lovely quiet beach. Windsurfing. Family environment. Good food. Each room has own outside veranda with table and chairs. Grounds..garden well kept. Not for the party night goers, but looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun, this is the place to go. Would definitely visit again.

Partial ocean viewPosted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: It was clean, peaceful and a relaxed atmosphere. Which is what we were looking for.
Cons: Maybe, more selections on the restaurant menu.
Location: In Oistens- all the local spots to try all the island food. In St. Lawrence Gap and Bridgetown, shop til you drop. Harrison's Cave - AWESOME!!
Our stay at this hotel was great. The staff was outstanding. Big shout out to the bartender Richelle "Trouble" LOL. She was awesome!! I think she's deserving of a raise LOL. Very beautiful view from our room and the dining area. The surfers were out, it was cool to watch them doing their thing on their boards. I didn't rate this hotel a 5 star only because it is so far from the local activity, but we found our way into Oisten, Bridgetown and St Lawrence Gap by hopping on the dollar van with the locals. Awesome experience!!

Nice hotel fairly close to the airportPosted Oct 29, 2013
Hotel pool was small but really nice, and great for kids with the multi levels. The surf is great for excitement but not for swimming. Was just there for one night but everything was as it was said it would be. Happy with the rate.

Quiet hotel, away from all actionPosted Oct 12, 2013
We stayed for a weekend and silver beach had everything we needed. Located on the beach with a spacious lounge area with a pool. The only thing I would have liked to see are chairs on the beach, it would have allowed me to spend more time on the Actual sand. We had all our meals at the hotel and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They did not always have what we ordered off the menu but tried there beat to accommodate our needs. We took a trip into town which took about an hour both ways which was manageable but if we were interested in more nightlife and activities I would recommend another location.

Perfect Romantic GetawayPosted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Everything. I could stay there for a long time. I really like the idea that it gives you the peace and serenity you're looking for on a trip.
Cons: I think if not a jacuzzi, a tub can be placed in the standard rooms for added comfort.
Location: If you are looking for the night life, this hotel is just a stone throw away from the famous Gap, and It is about 15 minutes from the airport.
The Silverpoint Hotel is the perfect place for peace and relaxation; not to crowded and the amenities are excellent. The room was perfect, the food was excellent, and the staff were just awesome! Very professional, and at the same time delivering excellent customer service. The room was clean, the hot water worked too well, plus you get room service. Every single staff waited on you. This experience was just Amazing! Totally, totally Awesome! This hotel is a perfect mix of Rest and Relaxation.

Hotel Far from BridgeportPosted Sep 5, 2013
Cons: Correct advertising of the room type compared to what you get
Location: Slums. Nothing nearby
This hotel is 30 minutes from Bridgeport in what only can be described as the slums of Barbados. The "ocean-view" room had no view of the ocean.

Hotel is located 10 -15 min away from the St. Lawrence Gap which is a hub of activities on the south coast of Barbados and approximately 20 min from Bridgetown. Hotel is located in a small, rustic fishing village with very typical tropical architecture.

Nice hotel, Quiet and RelaxingPosted Aug 25, 2013
Pros: Hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: Have a meal plan associated with the package. Having ramps for people with lots of suitcases. Or an Elevator.
It was a nice hotel to stay at for a few days to get away. It is a bit of a taxi ride away from all the busy parts, but that is the great thing about it.

Need microwave in roomsPosted Aug 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Security was very kind. However, there need to be some updating with the locks on the door and the rusting. I strongly recommend a microwave oven in the room.

Its all about customer support!Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Excellent customer service.
Location: Anything you can do on the beach! It's literally steps away.
I'm not the one to write reviews but I think this place deserves one. Went to Barbados for my best friends wedding and chose this hotel based on pictures and reviews and price. It was a very good decision. Almost had a meltdown when I opened my suit for the wedding a couple of hours before meeting up with the groomsmen to head out to the church for the wedding. My suit which was supposedly tailored was not even touched. Nothing was done to the suit. The pants were not shortened and nor was the sleeves of the jacket. I had been very busy the last couple of months and did not check the suit it at least once before the wedding. Anyways, to keep it simple here, one of the staff member got a hold of another staff member (one of the security guards) who was able to help from a sewing kit he went attained from another person. Keep in mind its 10 am when i find out about the suit and I needed it by 12. The security guard there happened to know how to sew and did the best with what he was able to obtain. Saved my life. Location wise, its nearer the southern part of the island so the waves on the beach is not as calm. Great for surfing though. One of the other reviews mention cricket noises, which is not to be overlooked. They are loud. Then I realized, it didn't matter where you were on the island, they were everywhere. So, its not the hotel. My advice would be to buy a couple of earplugs before heading over to the island.
