“Great deal!”

My family only stayed there for night as a connection so we didn't sleep in the airport. We spent the whole day there and it was great.. its not 5 stars but for the price it was perfect and its right in the middle of everything! The beach is really close, shopping is good too! Kitchen in the room was great so we cooked in there .. Overall great deal!

“Would go back tomorrow”

The Accommodation has everything you need for self catering. Ideally located for shops, restaurnts and beaches. The staff are really helpful and friendly especially Wendy and Joyce. Only downside you have to pay locally for air conditioning and safety deposit box

“Perfect Budget Hotel”

The Palms Rsort is quietly tucked away 5 minutes from the beach and main coast road to Bridgetown. The staff were very polite and helpful. We were without water for one day(no fault of the hotel) and the staff couldn't do enough to assist in overcoming the problem. It's not the Ritz but perfect for one ot two week holiday.

Hotel was basic but very clean, only problem it has single beds and we would have preferred a double bed .

“The perfect island resort”

The hotel was lovely, it was picture perfect with the palm trees and the pool and just the surrounding area. We were on the second floor so we had a lovely view.The pool was clean and the room as well. It was very spacious. The room was more like a mini apartment because there was a kitchen and a small living room. The hotel staff was very helpful, she answered any questions we had about the area and provided more information.

“Excellent Value Apartment”

What can I say ? I couldn't have been more impressed - Huge rooms , secluded apartments with good swimming pool a short walk away from the main reception , and about 10 minutes walk from Holetown - widely regarded as the best town in Barbados ( a view shared by me ). Staff were very friendly and efficient , and were able to answer all my queries about the local area .Maids cleaned my room every day . Buses ran regularly to all over the island and were great value . A couple of ( very ) small problems with the room when I arrived but one phone call sorted these out immediately with the absolute minimum of fuss . All in all ,I had a great holiday , which I belive was due in a large part to the quality of my apartment. Highly recommended.

“A pleasant average resort with high quality of service.”

Our exprience with Westjet was 'topnotch' as always! We have learned from experience to arrange our own taxi service in Barbados. It is much less costly than prearranged shuttles. The Halcyon Palms Resort is a short walk to several good beaches and plenty of shopping and restaurants. The units in the resort are spacious and well appointed except for the inferior television cable service. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again. The staff was more than helpful and everything here is kept to a very high standard.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had everything I wanted and was extremely comfortable. Excellent for the money. I was sorry to leave my little home!

“Would definitely go back”

I've been to Barbados 5 times now and so have a pretty good idea of the varying kinds of accommodation that are available. I found these apartments to be very reasonably priced, excellently located for the West Coast and all it has to offer (you're only a 10 min walk from Sandy Lane beach where the celebs pay megabucks to sit on the same bit of sand as you!), very well maintained, very clean and staffed with very courteous and friendly people. If you're undecided, just book it! Then head down to Just Grillin and get yourself some Marlin and a Banks!
