“small west-coast gem”

Great all suite hotel on Barbados west-coast. Ocean view room fantastic , only a couple of metres from the beach . Service personalised with friendly, accommodating staff. Lots of regulars and long-time staff give the Treasure Beach a homey feel. Would return in a minute.

“Lovely hotel”

We stayed at Treasure Beach for 10 days and had a wonderful time. It is a real gem among the big, flashy hotels on the West Coast - small, intimate and classy. Great food, huge rooms (all suites) and friendly staff - we will definitely go back!

“"Very personal, intimate hotel"”

I was very pleased with Treasure Beach Hotel. The service is very personal and you feel more like family than a guest. The hotel itself was very quiet and relaxing without the busy "resort" feel. Breakfast was free with our booking and couldn't have been better: omelettes to order, fresh fruit and juices, toast, etc. Housekeeping was exemplary. I have stayed at many a hotel in the caribbean and this one was by far the cleanest. The housekeeping ladies were great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet, restful vacation without a bunch of noisy kids and rowdy party people. The grounds were also beautiful and very well maintained.

“Would love to return”

Very friendly and helpful staff, charming surroundings, and a lovely and shady beachfront, made this a great vacation spot. It tended to attract an older group of tourists, but we had a great time with our teenager none the less. The restaurant served a varied menu, and the presentation and service was great. Much to our surprise we found ourselves eating almost every meal on the premises. Quiet at night, most of the other visitors were British, and complimentary afternoon tea was welcome after an afternoon of sightseeing.

“Wonderful Honeymoon Location”

The hotel staff was welcoming and warm from the minute we walked in the door. When we went to them for advice on excursions they very helpful and knowlegeable. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the beach was somewhat narrow, but very beautiful. The hotel is located in the midst of the best hotels and restaurants on the island, and within very easy access to the bus transportation. My only disappointment with the hotel was the restaurant. Although the food is good, it is expensive for what it is and since there is no entertainment on most nights, the restaurant is often quite empty. I would recommend this hotel for honeymooners and couples, but not for families with small children.

“Very Relaxing, with excellent food”

We had an ocean view room - literally 10 metres from the waves and with marvellous views of the sunsets and the bay, We were lucky, however, as several of the ocean view rooms had a less impressive view, especially those on the ground floor. Pool view rooms and (particularly) garden view rooms had much less of a view. The room itself was very comfortable, clean and spacious, with an open lounge area, with fridge, at the rear of the balcony. The bedroom had lots of hanging space, and a large comfortable bed. The food at the hotel was magnificent. The chef has a real talent for creating imaginative dishes, and the restaurant, under an awning that was retracted when possible, was spacious. Service was friendly, relaxed and efficient. Breakfasts were very good apart from a lack of rolls, which were difficult to get hold of. A pleasant, complimentary afternoon tea is served each day at 4pm and cold towels and 'fruit kebabs' are brought down to the beach at 11am - much appreciated touches. The downside of the hotel is the shortage of shady areas near the beach. There is a magnificent mahogany tree, but the loungers under this end up very close to each other, making the area rather too crowded. The general atmosphere was one of peaceful relaxation and it if this is what you want then Treasure Beach would be hard to beat.
