I'd try someplace else next time.

Pros: The staff were friendly. Good continental breakfast.
Cons: Our room was next to a breezeway where smokers stood and talked loudly. Making this area a smoke free zone might cut down on the noise.
Location: Union College - Redbud festival. Daniel Boone National Forest.
I stayed 2 nights. The room was large and well equipped with microwave and mini-fridge. It could have used an up-date. The carpet was worn and stained in spots. Toilet was unusually low. Some towels were stained. Plenty of pillows but all small and very soft.

Best Western Trails End

Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: the back view is lovely
Cons: the breakfast/day room is way too small to accommodate a hotel that size.
Location: This location is convenient for several state park and recreation areas. We visited both Cumberland Falls and Cumberland Gap while we were there.
Overall the stay was okay. The Staff was very nice. The hotel is older but was in general well maintained and clean. The only real problem we had is that the hotel was relatively full and the breakfast/day room area is extremely tiny. Almost closet sized. We were unable to enjoy the free breakfast as there was no room to sit, barely room to stand. We were just able to get a cup of coffee and decided to get something to eat elsewhere. I would suggest that they consider relocating that room to a larger area since free continental breakfast is part of their "draw" but is currently certainly not available to everyone since the room would maybe sit 10 people, and not very comfortably at that.

Good rooms, too pricy

Posted Sep 27, 2013
The rooms are clean and hotel is nice but I would not pay 75 a night to stay there. Don't book the room with two double beds it's right next to the office and you will get no sleep, you hear all the trucks coming and going and can hear them talking all night

A great time

Cons: The comfort and friendliness of the staff.
Location: The location was great. Easy access off main road.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when need be. The place was beautiful kept. Our room was really nice. It was a pleasure staying there. When we ask about resturants we were direct to a great Mexican resturant which had great service and food.

Highly recommend. This is at least a three star motel.

Location: We only visited Union College for a women's volleyball game, so didn't view the whole area.
Best Western Wilderness Trail was a delightful experience, after a grueling 600-plus miles for two 80-plus travelers..The service was excellent, the rooms were large and well-maintained, and our overall response is positive. We would recommend BWWT to anyone. This motel is definitely under-rated.
