Just off the major plaza, Catalunya, this hotel is an oasis of calm. The rooftop pool and lounge area is the best spot to end the day with a dip and a glass of cava. The rooms are lovely and the beds very, very comfortable.

We stayed at the Ohla Hotel in September and were welcomed with a lovely glass of cava on check in and also received a complimentary bottle of cava in our room. The hotel is well located in the old town and it's easy to get to any where you want to go. We had a room on the 6th floor which was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable so no trouble sleeping! Unfortunately I had a bad cold so we didn't get chance to experience the restaurant and the hotel fully but the breakfasts were excellent.
My husband was unfortunate and had his wallet stolen. The Concierge couldn't have been more helpful, reporting the theft for us and processing the police statement. I would like to thank him and the rest of the staff who helped us. We will not hesitate to stay again!

We stayed for 3 nights during October and found the staff and hotel to be excellent. It is situated in the heart of Barcelona within easy reach of all the main tourist attractions.
Would definately recommend this hotel to friends and relatives and our next visit to Barcelona.

This hotel is fantastically located across from the cathedral. Busy during the day, quiet (but not scary quiet) at night. I had a terrace overlooking the cathedral square, which was huge. Bigger than many hotel rooms I have stayed in. The room itself was OK. Tub with jets was a nice surprise. But the furniture seemed a bit dated and a coffee machine would have been great. Also the TV had no English channels and a small screen relative to the distance between the TV and the bed. Then again, you're in Barcelona, get out and enjoy!
It's a nice hotel and I would come back in a heartbeat if just for the terrace and the prime location

Hotel was just perfect for a few days sightseeing in Barcelona. Conveniently located close to the centre with easy access to the tour bus routes. We very much enjoyed using the roof garden and pool to relax after the long days out. So many excellent restaurants within walking distance it was difficult to choose.
Hotel had a clean, fresh feel upon arrival and reception staff were helpful and attentive. Room was fairly small but furnishing was comfortable and modern.
We will be coming back for sure.

Lovely modern hotel with stylish internal design. 10 - 15 min walk to Bogatell beach which is also great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Room was very nice and quite spacious for two people. 'Swimming pool' very small you can't swim in it.

Lovely large rooms with nice bathroom, extra large bed and plenty of storage room. Our room was on the same floor as the roof top pool but even so room was quiet with good black out blinds so sun did not disturb you early morning. Air condition was not particularly noisy so able to get a good nights sleep. We used both the bath and the shower and always had really hot water. Room was kept spotless and tioletries topped up when used immediately. We asked for a kettle in the room which cost 2.50 euros for the whole stay (3 nights) and definitely worth it, again topped up supplies daily. Breakfast was 12 euros each, buffet style and again excellent quality and choice of hot and cold foods. We used the restaurant once during our stay and chose the set 3 course menu at 24 euros per person - this was excellent value for money and food and service was impeccable, even had 1/2 bottles of wine which was perfect for me as my husband does not drink wine and again this was very reasonably priced. We expected prices in the restaurant and bars to be much more expensive given this is a 4* hotel.
Room cleanliness only scored 4 out of 5 as there was a funnt smell on entering the room (once in you did not notice this so I think it was the cleaning products used) otherwise it would have been a clean sweep top score.
Another plus is that you could actually open the windows and enjoy the fresh warm air. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to thank all members of staff for this.
