Very nice hotel in the center of the cityPosted May 15, 2015
This hotel has a great location. We got the superior room and it was really spacious, with a great bathroom, seating area. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very modern and decorated. It is just at the corner of the Passeig de Gracia, very centrally located. The pool is great, very secluded and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The patio outdoors was great for afternoon drinks and snack, as well as the bar staff.

Fantastic hotel perfectly located.Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: The friendly attitude of the staff was fantastic. Very stylish and clean room. Perfect location. Around the corner from the main Passeig de Graci
Cons: Street facing room was quite noisy and no English movie or children's TV channels that I could find.
Location: Great location just off Passeig de Graci and 15 minute walk to La Ramblas. Food, shopping, tourist sites all nearby.
Stayed in Barcelona for 3 nights. Main reason for the trip was to take my son to FC Barcelona match. I was pleasantly suprised at the fantastic service of Alma Hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially the front desk team who made us feel so welcome. They couldn't do enough to try assist with attractions, bookings or simply, directions where we needed to go. The hotel room was extremely clean and tidy and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Lovely very ultra-minimalist hotelPosted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: Very quiet rooms and super helpful but very low profile staff. A great place to stay if you want a quiet but luxurious place to stay.
Lovely minimalist hotel right in the centre of the main boutique shopping area just off Passeig de Gracia. Really helpful friendly staff and near to Cerveceria Catalunya which is a fantastic tapas bar to visit for brunch. Great weather and took the funicular (best approached from Montjuic to avoid the queues). Miro Foundation and Barcelona cathedral and Sagradafamilia both worth visiting as well as the seafront. A great city to visit for a short break.

Exceptional staff in a great hotelPosted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Has a lovely secluded garden area
Cons: The height of the tables/chairs in the breakfast/dining room are a little on the "low" side and may be a challenge for very tall guests !!
Location: If your killing an hour before dinner try the bar around the corner. Left o/s the hotel entrance and left at the corner - about 100 metres.
The staff (the whole team) at this hotel are exceptional in every way. Helpful, courteous, smart, attentive etc etc. The hotel is very minimal in decor but very stylish (though this won't be everyone's choice). However, what you get with this is functionality and quality at the highest level on the important things - bathroom/bed/cleanliness etc. The finger print security access for bedrooms seems like a novelty but as with most good technology, once you've used it once, you don't know how you ever managed previously without it !!!! The location is very good for waling everywhere.

A slice of peaceful luxury in a great cityPosted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Service, room, restaurant/bar, atmosphere, location.
Cons: Struggling with this one!
Location: Great location. Turn right and you're on the Passeig De Gracia for shops and restaurants. Use the nearby Metro stop at Diagonal to get around.
The Alma Barcelona is a haven of luxury, but within easy reach of everything this vibrant, cultural city has to offer. From the moment you walk in the front door to be greeted by the polite, attentive staff, you are put on a pedestal. Service is faultless and the ambience of the modern, airy hotel is fantastic and relaxing. Try the food...traditional but modern in presentation, and empty plates guaranteed! The rooms, if ours was an example, are spacious...comfy beds, huge bathroom, and (often under-estimated) plenty of room to walk around. A security safe and daily replenished mini bar are also a bonus. The location is just at the top end of the Passeig De Gracia, so ideal for a walk into the centre, and away from the hustle and bustle of La Rambla. Lovely modern hotel, superb staff and service.
