“Cleaner than clean hotel with great friendly staff”

I am a high maintenance traveler who likes the room so clean, that even the "corners" are clean. The Alma is that hotel. The staff is super friendly, you are greeted with a glass of champagne or water while you check in, your finger print becomes your room key (entry to your room) very secure. It is a modern, minimal design hotel. Lovely patio, the gym and spa were not operational in October. It is a half block from Passig de Gracia and a lovely 20 minute walk to Las Ramblas. We would without hesitation stay here again.

“A fabulous design!”

My husband and I are architects and we were awed by the design. The details are impeccable, the mixing of old and new beautifully done - just gorgeous. The garden is wonderful and a calm oasis in the busy neighborhood. The service was perfect and the concierges were especially friendly, resourceful and went of out their way to help us. We will definitely go back!

“Wonderful hotel in the center of Barcelona”

It was a long 2 weeks trip for me to reach Barcelona and Alma was the most expensive hotel out there, but it was worth every cent I spent. The hotel situated in the heart of Barcelona, althou the street itself is not overcrouded, I read some feedbacks and requested a room with the windows on the courtyard which I was granted. I was a bit worried about the parking if I am not paying too much (30e per day) since I spend almost a week there, but it turned out to be the regular parking fee in the center of the city is 48e per day. I don't want to go in to details and describe how big and luxurious was the room (it was really big), but wanted to mention one con, - the bathroom is without a door.. so If you are sharing a room (as I did with my sister), it can be somehow confusing. Other than that, it is an excellent place to stay in the marvelous city of Barcelona.

“Alma Hotel - A very special place”

The moment you walk in you are greeted by a very competent staff, who speak several languages. They were very professional and most helpful, very knowledgable and friendly. Alma is contemporary and sophisticated. We chose a junior suite and it was perfect. Lovely large room separated by a bank of cabinets and televisions on each side. The seating area was perfect to relax after hours of walking to relax, have a cold drink and freshen up for the late night ahead. The bathroom was large and beautiful. The room was simply perfect.

“Great Hotel”

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and were extremely impressed by the style, upkeep, and service provided by the hotel. If we go back to Barcelona we definitely will look into staying here again

“5 Star staff and accomodations!”

This is an amazing hotel with an equally amazing staff. They all went way, way out of their way to help us in every way possible. I can certainly understand their 5 star rating. The staff alone made our visit the most enjoyable of the six countries that we visited on this trip.

One of the coolest hotels I've ever had the pleasure to say in. Perfect location, perfect room, amazing staff. The decor is modern and sophisticated, I loved every minute.

“Great Hotel for Couples”

The ALMA Barcelona is a great hotel for couples. The location is excellent - you can walk to many major attractions. The staff is superb. One important caveat - this would not be a good hotel for families, particularly with children.
