Great location, very friendly staff, lovely room!

This boutique hotel is on a main avenue, a minute walk from placa Catalunya and 5 min walk from the Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. The staff was very helpful and accepted our online request for a room with balcony. When we asked to move to a room with single queen bed they were very helpful too! The room was really nice, had all the facilities we need, clean and great size. Would love to come back again on a future visit, thanks guys!

excellent location for sight seeing, Nice hotel,

Posted Jan 3, 2014
Pros: location and furnishings were excellent
Cons: nothing
Location: We were within 10-20 minute walk from major attractions
Room was a little small but we expected that for Europe. (staff did offer to move us after first night, but we declined) We were within a short walk to all sight seeing areas. Hotel staff spoke English which was very helpful for our limited communication skills in other languages! Wi fi availabilty was also helpful. We would go back to same hotel if we return.

2 blocks from hotel you can get on one of two different city bus tours which you can hop on or off. Location is also walking distance to many shops, restauarants and sights. Everyone at hotel was super nice and helpful.

Pros: Location, location, location!
Cons: Restaurant food and service.
Location: Near bus, metro, restaurants, shops and nice avenue to walk,
Excellent location, great staff, front desk staff is very knowledgeable and always ready to help. Restaurant is ok and breakfast could use more variety. Staff at restaurant not as friendly or serviceable as at the hotel.

Nice central hotel convenient for sites and shops.

Pros: The location is very good - central but not in the hustle and bustle. Rooms were very clean. Staff were first class.
Cons: The whirlpool/hot tub could be cleaner. This could do with regular hygine check.
Location: Hotel location is great, just a short walk from Placa De Catalunya where the airport buses stop. Great cafe/tapas bars nearby and all good value.
We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona and at the Atrium Palace. The staff speak very good English and gave very good advice on how to get around and where to eat. Try eating off the main streets as they tend to be expensive. Either eat lunchtimes or aim for set menus if on a budget. Make the effort to walk if possible as you will find great cafes and bars in lovely squares and on street corners. It is well worth planning each day if sight seeing and try not to pack everything in otherwise you will not make the most of the locations you visit. The only negative was being pestered by beggers.
