Great location, mediocre accommodationsPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Room decor. Red lights in the hallways need to go, too.
Location: 1 block to Parallel, 2 blocks to La Rambla and Columbus statue. Next to a ton of places to eat, snack, drink or just buy a trinket.
Convenient to everywhere in Barca, this place seemed to be a recently-converted hotel by the hours. From all kins of sex accoutrements for sale in the lobby to red lights next to all rooms lighting the hallways, this place needs to provide bigger rooms with a bit more furniture (like a chair).

Good location for short city breakPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Communal area and location
The communal area was very nice with sofas and tvs. The room was small, not amazingly clean but ok. Location was great - much quieter than gothic and born and forced us to explore other areas of barcelona that we didn't know so well - raval is amazing and poble sec is fantastic for bars and tapas.

Good location near La Rambla, and MetroPosted Jun 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I loved the hotel experience. It was clean, and relatively affordable for Barcelona. There are cheaper hotels nearby, but they are not of this quality. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, and I recommend adding it to your stay. The design of the rooms and hallways are memorable. Very modern and ecclectic. My only (minor) displeasure was the size of the room (small) and the ambiguity of the outside entrance. It is not easily identifyable from a distance where your hotel is. Good service and staff that understand English was a bonus ! I will return.

Hotels with good and some not so good qualitysPosted May 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good things about this hotel were friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was excellent, bed was comfortable, shower was great, room was interestingly decorated and with a good flat screen tv and mood light which was nice, roof has a lovely sun terrace with shower and there is free WIFI in your room. Things not so good are the size of rooms, little on the small side with limited storage to unpack your cases, there were no windows to open or balcony so when you showered, it filled the whole room with condensation. Overall a nice hotel ideal for long weekend stays and if your looking to get out and about while in Barcalona, 5 mins from a metro station and 10 mins from local restaurants on Las Ramblas and Avenue Parallel.

“Great location”;Posted May 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
this hotel is centrally located being 5 mins away from ramblas. It is a great hotel for the mini break with comfortable rooms. all rooms seem to differ in size. so get a larger one for any long stay. Breakfast is very good for the rate with fresh fruit on top of expected cooked and cerials, the breakfast room being very modern and spacious. Also decking on top of vroof is great for a sunny day with loungers on it.overall would reccomend .
