Off the beaten path

Posted Jul 30, 2014
We stayed 2 days. The apartment is small but well equipped, and the staff was excellent. The kids had 2 single beds in one room, and mom and dad had a larger bed to share. Plus: near a metro stop and near grocery stores. The restaurant downstairs was very good, but not cheap. Downsides: no air conditioning on a hot day, hard to figure out the stove, and a ways from popular tourist sites. An overall positive experience that I would recommend.

Great, quiet, residential location

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs AC
The neighborhood is lovely, very easy access to the metro, Sagrada Familia and Parc Gruell. A few good caf├ęs and restaurants around. I really missed air conditioning! They had a huge industrial size fan, but that really didn't help. I guess if we went any other time than summer it would've been okay.

Great neighborhood, CLEAN!

Posted Jul 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Wow, is this place clean! The apartments had everything we needed (family of 4) and the cleanliness is just outstanding. The apartments themselves are wonderfully vintage-Spanish style. Comfy beds, great showers, perfect kitchen. And, did I mention how clean??? The neighborhood is very upscale, a 2 minute walk to the "La Bonanova" transit stop, which will take you directly to Placa Catalunya within 10 minutes. And, bonus...you're not right in the middle of touristy, loud (and sometimes not so secure) Barcelona. Instead, you can live like a Spaniard in your very own apartment, in a lovely, safe neighborhood. Adjacent restaurant (Isabella's) is great too, very chill, awesome atmosphere, great Gin and Tonics.

Pros: By expedia
Cons: They need renovation the apartments.

The apartment is okay, but they need to renovation. With two fans in summer time is not enough. The apartment feel too hot in summer.

Nice Family Space in Exclusive Neighborhood

Posted Jun 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall nice space for our needs as a family - nice space, clean and responsive staff and a short walk to the metro. A few things one should know if booking this apartment. First, the neighborhood is a 15-minute train ride away from the most popular sites in Barcelona in a very upscale neighborhood. There are several great restaurants and shops nearby and a supermarket. Second, the metro is a separate and different line from the rest of the Barcelona metro system, so it can cost two separate fees to travel to most locations in Barcelona. Third, the staff does not speak much English. Finally, the billing was very confusing. I was quoted three different rates and the amounts did not add up properly. Overall, this was a great place to stay, but it may not be for everyone.

apartment was very spacious in a very nice , safe residential neighborhood. No washer and dryer. The subway station was within 3 min walking, the grocery store - 5-7 min walking. To get to the center - 4-5 stops by metro. The parking is very close but the min was 3 days for 35 euros, there was street parking but you had to pay every 2 hours and it was much more expensive, although Sat and Sund were free!!!

Friendly staff but take your walking shoes!

Pros: The staff and the pastry shops in the area!
Cons: The rooms could do with being refurbished and a toaster would be good!
Location: Far from the centre but lots of little coffee shops nearby with amazing pastries!
We stayed for two nights, renting two apartments for a hen party. We were able to check-in early and the staff were friendly, giving us maps and advice for our stay. The apartments were very clean although they were a little dated and there was no oven or toaster, just a hob and microwave. The area was quiet but was quite far from the beach and las Ramblas, so we either caught a metro and changed twice or caught a taxi which cost around 15 euros one way.

Ok family apartment, price is reasonable,

Pros: The shower was good.
Cons: Lights were dull.
Location: Very good location. The metro station and supermarket nearby at walking distance.
Supermarket open cors is about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. La bonanva metro station is about 5 minutes walk. In advt. it was saying the flat lcd tv, but the tv was analogue and very old model. The light bulbs were 5 watt output in every room, very difficult to read because of dull light. The reception persons couldn't speak english but friendly. I had to type in english on the computer and it will translate to italian language to communicate. In the bath tub the water was going very slowly through the waste pipe.
