“extremely ample”

The aparments were clean and very central. We couldnt get the TV to work but to be fair didnt ask so it didnt bother us. Very close to the Harbour and good pubs like dusk which has excellent Tapas. Very good value for money. the front door took a bit of getting used to so ask when you check in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

“Comfort in Monmartre”

The front desk staff were approachable and willing to help in matters of contacting attractions and booking a car to the airport. The room was comfortable and a pleasant place to return to after a busy day. Plenty of places around for cheap meals and to buy supplies. The only very minor drawback was the chatter of a small group who gathered in the park outside the building of an evening.

“Excellent Location and Pricing”

A block off the marina, a quarter mile walk up the road to La Rambla. It seems everything is in walking distance. It was nice to be off the main road, very close to excellent restaurants. There is an Irish Tapas bar around the corner with great prices and portions. The rooms were clean, king bed (not two twins pushed together so someone gets stuck sleeping in the crack!), convenient kitchen and adaquate bathroom space. Modern interior, gilded gated entry, marble floors. We were very satisfied.

“great location but not a good street”

Apartment details didn't mention that check-in was an office 2 streets away. Ample is perfect location between Gothic Quarter and the Old Port for sight-seeing , but the late night clubs and bars could still be heard on the 4th floor in the early hours. Apartment was adequate , but looked as though it had been painted at the beginning of the season and was due another coat of paint , but it was clean. The shower cubicle in the bathroom left a lot to be desired with mould and a tatty shower curtain. On the last morning at 10.00 a.m., we had to step over an unkempt person who was asleep on the foyer floor , between the street door which was not secured and the metal access gate to the apartments. We had to ring the management to inform them as there was no-one on site. Probably best suited to young not-too-fussy clubbers , as near all the action.

“The place was AMPLE in size only.”

We arrived early in the morning to find a locked door and a phone number with all directions in Spanish. If not for our taxi driver who made several calls on his cell phone, who knows if we could have gotten in. The apartment space was ample for sure, and the room clean. There was a small kitchenette. For someone who would spend several days in Barcelona, it might be a great spot. The owners need to specify the difficulty of little onsite management.

Noisy, no staff or maintenance people available, a very bad experience.

“A window would be nice”

Take care, rooms described as interior rooms don't actually feature external windows. There is a window with a view of the central stairwell, so you get no natural light whatsoever. As a result the interior rooms feel like prison cells. I was also concerned about the lack of obvious fire planning or exit routes. My advice would be avoid an interior room unless you are happy living in a windowless cell.

“dreadful place”

Very small room, bathroom and kitchen with very basic accomodations. Room has no windows, feels like a jail cell. No employees on site, had to walk several blocks to get key, unless you have a working phone in Spain. Only one key provided with 50 euros security deposit for an extra key.
