Great Location and Great For Families.Posted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: I liked everything about this hotel!
Cons: The Wifi. We were cut off of it if we were in the bedrooms.
Location: Great location for shopping, restaurants and in walking distance to many historical sites.
Apartments 64 is a wonderful place to stay while enjoying your trip to Barcelona. It is in the perfect location for shopping and dining- several restaurants and shops close by. It is also conveniently located within walking distance of many of the historical sites, but if you prefer taking a taxi, there is a taxi stand just out front. The apartment is as shown on the website. It is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The staff is very courteous, helpful and maintains a high standard of customer service. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are very nice. The bathrooms are sleek and modern, and come equipped with luxury bath towels and toiletries. I have traveled to many countries and have stayed at many apartment-style hotels- Apartments 64 is by far one of my favorites.

Fabulous central Barcelona apartmentsPosted Nov 3, 2014
Beautiful, we'll equipped, spacious apartments within close walking distance of Gaudi's Casa Batllo and La Pedrara. Plenty of great restaurants, cafe's and shops right outside the door.

Barcelona apartmentPosted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: Location and how well equipped it was.
Cons: Some apartments with a larger second bedroom for adults who are sharing.
Location: It was a great location within walking distance of Plaza Catalunya and Ramblas but still quiet once in apartments. Loads of great restaurants nearby.
Great central location without being too noisy. Clean and spacious. Apartment we had was more suited to a family than 3 adults but was spacious enough for us still to be comfortable. Would definitely go back.

Not enough staffingPosted Oct 5, 2014
Since this is marketed as a hotel, there should be 24-hour staff and some common facilities. It is short on both counts. When I arrived at 2 pm on a Sunday, there was no one there, and the entry door was closed. I had to use my foreign phone to call long-distance to the "emergency" number shown beside the door buzzer. Someone showed up soon enough, but by then I had been waiting with bags on busy Paseo de Gracia for 15 minutes. The lerson who let me in said my room wouldn't be ready until 4 pm, so I had to leave my bags and walk around aimlessly, since there was no lounge to wait in. Later in my stay, power was abruptly cut in my room (a malfunction of the card power slot), and again there was no one in the reception (this was about 9 pm on a weekday). I had to dress in the dark and go next door (by now I had learned that the hotel next door, 62 Paseo de Gracia, is owned by the same people) to ask for help. (No telephone at all in the Apartments 64 unit.) There is no other facility or common amenity in the building, just guest units. In sum, although this "hotel" offers more space, it lacks many of the basics that I would consider necessary for it to be sold as a "hotel".

Nice hotel near centre of BarcelonaPosted Sep 12, 2014
Cons: Apartment door was difficult to open
Location: In a good location with restaurants and shops nearby
We stayed in these apartments with our two grown up grandsons for 3 nights. The apartment was brilliant, exceeded our expectations, clean and very well equipped with all that we needed. It was very well positioned and near all transports such as the metro and the tour buses. We found it convenient having a taxi rank outside which we used often.

Feel a part of the cityPosted Aug 12, 2014
Cons: Hard to find anyone in charge to talk to.
Old building, but modern inside. Parking was underground right in front of apartment. Staying here made us feel part of the city, much more than a hotel would have. We could stand on our balcony facing the primary avenue in Barcelona and watch life passing us by. Many excellent shops and restaurants right outside our door. Hop-on-hop-off bus access only two blocks away. Only thing that was strange was they would not let us check in until 4 PM, saying that the cleaning crew did not arrive until 2 PM. We flew in from the US arriving to the apartment at 9:30 AM. They stored our luggage, but immdiately had to move it as it was blocking access to the equipment used by the cleaning people who had just arrived. I would highly recommend.
