Good value, friendly, clean, good locationPosted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: Clean hotel, nice and helpful staff. Good room facilities, in good condition. Good lightning in the room (it has ceiling lights). Very close to metro
Cons: Air conditioning was switched off. It was November, daily temperatures about 19 centigrades, so it was not a big problem, but not comfortable either.
Location: 3 minutes walk to metro. Variety of restaurants nearby, open till 2 am (Nov 2013). 15 min walk to Rambla.

Good location and neighbourhoodPosted Nov 11, 2013
Wonderful hotel and staff..stayed there for 3 nights we were out most of the time but perfectly located easy access from the airport 15 mins bus ride with plenty of bus and metro options to go round the city. About 20 mins walk to get to the centre and "la rambla" a wonderful walk through the old town with another 25 mins walk from the centre to the beach. Overall I think it is perfect location with plenty of bakeries and coffee shops around if the option of breakfast is not taken I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Good value, good locationPosted Nov 9, 2013
6 blocks from Plaza Espana! Good location and bigger (newer) than the old town hotels. Bed was a little hard but the room was clean and tidy.

Pros: Close to Urgell metro station and the Airport bus. Quiet neighbourhood. Modern decor and very clean.
Location: Mid-way between Pl Catalunya and Pl de Espanya. Main sites easily reached on foot
Efficient check-in and check-out. Nothing to fault

Nice hotel with all amenitiesPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Very clean.
Cons: Noisy rooms, mainly from other hotel guests. People arrived in the next room to me in the early hours of the morning, making excessive noise.
Location: Close enough to Las Ramblas. Plenty of restaurants/ cafes nearby. Bus stops and metro very near.
Three of us stayed for 4 nights. Very helpful staff throughout the hotel. Nice atmosphere and rooms very comfortable although one of our party had a bad back and would have benefitted from a chair to sit on. Quite noisy inside the hotel, due to other inconsiderate hotel guests.

Good hotel rooms and areaPosted Oct 30, 2013
Three girls on a first trip abroad without the families .. We were really pleased with our rooms smart clean and with hair driers coffee/ tea making and shower gel etc provided we could keep luggage to a minimum on plane . Staff on reception were very helpfull with info and how to get around . Metro close and local area offered plenty of bars and places to eat .

Cheap and cheerfulPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Good value for money and location; clean; friendly staff.
Cons: A fridge in the room, and more English programmes on the TV.
Location: Within walking distance of the Placa de Catalunya, la Rambla, all the museums and galleries. We stayed for 4 nights and didn't use the metro or bus.
A good location, near the University, and away from the centre of town, yet within walking distance of all attractions. Five minutes walk from the A2 Airport bus stop, this hotel is basic, but clean and worth more than the two stars it currently has. The shower room and bedroom were cleaned every day, and stocked with all the toiletries we needed. The kettle was useful, as was the hair dryer, but I would have liked a fridge. If you ask at reception, you can get free internet access in the room. We didn't have the breakfast, as at 11 euros we thought it rather pricey, and there are bars and cafes on every corner. Reading other reviews before we went, I was prepared for noise, but there was none during the four nights of our stay. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay if all you want is a clean bed and a shower.
